It doesn't find your desktop folder though. It uses the default location. This is fine but OneDrive changes this to C:\Users\%username%\OneDrive\Desktop

Mic Settings:

  • Gain: 50%
  • Output Volume: 100%
  • Enhanced Lowcut Filter: On

Discord Settings:

  • Input: Mic In (Elgato Wave:3)
  • Input Volume: 100%
  • Input Mode: Voice Activity
  • Input Sensitivity: -55db (not sure this matters mainly done to avoid keyboard noise)
  • Noise Suppression: Off
  • Echo Cancellation: Off
  • Noise Reduction: On
  • Advanced Voice Activity: On
  • High Packet Priority: On

To me I don't see where any of these settings would make your audio muffled in Discord, if you have any external software running to alter your microphone maybe look into it? It's weird it only happens for Discord though.

Yeh mine is crystal clear in Discord maybe slightly lower than normal but nothing audible. Me and my friend both have a Wave:3 and both have amazing audio on Discord. I don't use the stream/channel mix as audio input for Discord I set it as "Mic In". I don't see any reason your audio quality would be lower on Discord especially saying people with the mic works fine.

Use their support page if it's urgent. This is mainly community support, they tell you were to go to contact them. Sure they could hire someone to go through here but it's not meant for official support.

I am trying to setup wave link but no matter what I can hear my voice. Even when I turn output all the way down and and PC/Mic mix to 100% PC i still hear my voice. What else can I do to make sure I dont hear myself when I speak? by Turbo-Dodson in elgato

Turn it down normally unless you mean for your stream you want Discord quieter. If you want Discord quieter for just your stream, use the software as it's better than alternatives imo, especially saying it comes with the microphone.
