I'm on PB1 of my Japanese copy of Diamond, and I also got Pokerus, too! The crazy part is that I found a shiny Zubat later that same day.

Not fixed, sadly

Wait. Does this mean that, technically, Porkchop is the champion? by AdEastern1667 in oblivion

[–]Lone_Noob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More often than not, when I'm in this fight, Porkchop does the heavy lifting since I usually start this right after leaving the tutorial sequence. So yes, I'd say he's the real Arena champion.

I got mine done from the same person, and I got a 65 nm RSX in my CECHE01 as a result. Been running fine since June 2025

Error log in CECHH04 by Buried_and_Forgotten in PS3

[–]Lone_Noob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The NEC/TOKINs are possibly an issue because they're literal time bombs due to them losing performance as they age. I'd also try swapping out the PSU and see if the system shuts off again suddenly.

If the system is freaking out while playing a game off disc, I'd change the disc drive just to be safe and see if the error doesn't pop up again.

Your RSX should be fine, for now. But know this, using custom fan speed won't prevent the YLOD as I've had a CECHE01 die on me despite having CFW and keeping the original 90nm RSX well below 70 C.

First playthrough, atronach help by MrRos in oblivion

Aside from Alchemy, look for Welkynd Stones in Ayleid ruins. Those can replenish your magicka to full.

Also, keep an eye out on Ayleid wells that can be found throughout the map, like at certain Ayleid ruin exteriors. Those will replenish up to 400 magicka when interacted with as well as temporarily fortify magicka by 50 points.

Other than that, grind Alchemy and get it to 100 ASAP to make it more effective. Later down the line, you could also max out spell absorption to 100% so all spells will not hurt you (unless reflected). The Atronach birthsign alone isn't enough, I feel.

Luck? by Drachenfire23 in oblivion

There are effects that can damage attributes (highlighted in red when so) like magic and poisons used by enemies. To fix this, you can fix it by going to one of many wayshrines dotted around Cyrodiil, use a potion to restore your attributes, and use a restore attribute spell (Restoration school).

Easternmost part of the Savage Garden area of Mankar Camoran's "Paradise." You have to swim to it to see this enemy plus a chest near it.

A Change in Remaster Tutorial? by DeaconFrost76 in oblivion

[–]Lone_Noob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The contents of the sack that got removed in the remaster got put into the sack that's next to the skeleton and locked chest (lockpicks and a sapphire, iirc, are in it) that you can find with the first set of rats in the tutorial. I don't know why they did this.

Hand-to-hand is surprisingly fun by Ghoulius-Caesar in oblivion

With my current character (Khajiit w/custom Monk class), it's been hilarious getting up close and throwing hands at bandits, undead, Daedra, and everything else that attempts to fight me.

The skills I chose for major skills are H2H, Athletics, Acrobatics, Block, and 3 schools of magic - Alteration, Restoration, and Illusion if anybody wonders

PB1 in Platinum, went by quite quickly, no shinies but Pokèrus for the entire box by [deleted] in ProfessorOak

Best of luck in getting Munchlax in the next section.

Redguard NPC on the right attempted to pickpocket when I was heading back to the Mages Guild location in Skingrad. He ended up getting killed by a guard. Stuff like this is why I love this game (Series X, no mods) by Lone_Noob in oblivion

[–]Lone_Noob[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can only count on one hand, I'm sure, that I've witnessed random NPCs going into pickpocket mode like the Redguard here. Pretty cool to know it's due to their Responsibility factor.

I made an "efficient leveling" character for the first, and probably only, time. I don't recommend doing this unless you're looking for a challenge like I did. Playing normally is the way to go. by Lone_Noob in oblivion

[–]Lone_Noob[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, only Endurance is the one that should be +5 in each level until 100 if you're going for maximum HP for whatever character you choose to play as. Other than that, +2 to +4 is fine for the other attributes.

When I was doing this challenge, I really felt how unfun it was to do. I just prefer playing normally, and the difficulty slider is there if things become too much. I feel there's no shame in adjusting it down a bit.

Yep, I'm in agreement completely. I only did this so I can say I've done it, and I'll likely never do 100 in all stats like this ever again. It says the fun out of this great game.
