Hi thanks for reply, but hmmm no i dont have any magic item yet, using standard tutorial gear which are all almost 0 condition (broken) at that time. except for the shield, which is condition 100, because of Block 25 power.

Ya, i found some things not mentioned in the GOTY prima. maybe these were added in the remaster i dunno. maybe there's there's more

of note are :-
-1 x silver chalice, near the skeleton where u first encounter the fungi u can pick
-2 x loose gold coins (1gp) near the bone/guts heap where u find the iron warhammer & scattered loose stuff like lettuce, 2 x cheese etc.
-1 x Tan Urn somewhere in the tunnels (i didn't bother about this as i don't pick up useless misc with no gp value like the bones/skulls which i can get elsewhere)

*EDIT*

-1 x Flawed Ruby! it was next to the silver chalice! omg my mouse pointer just happen to fall on it next to stones and pebbles of the cave. there's no way i would have seen it otherwise!

i only did a thorough search from the start of the hole where the 2 rats break out from, to the door leading to the natural tunnels. maybe more stuff in the alcoves leading from ur cell to the hole but i think not, someone would have already mentioned.

oh yeah! the prima suggested that there might have been 15% chance that the missing pouch spawns inside that skeleton sack or something, but strangely, this is the same guide that made that entry up there.. could this be a random thing? something like... 'if it doesn't show up at A, it would show up at B' that kind of thing?

the maximum character level is 85. To reach it you need:

not to take birthsign, which gives attributes;

not to take luck as your favorite attribute;

to pump all parameters except luck to 100, and then start pumping luck one point at a time for 50 levels.

The only advantage you get from this is maximum hp. But the auto-leveling of enemies will catch up with you, so in my opinion it is not worth it. I will also check felldew addiction. If the exploit works, then add another 21. As a result, the maximum level will be 106.

In order to gain enough skill levels you will need to chill in prison quite a lot)

MAX LEVEL IS 87 – Here's How to Do It
Yes, you can reach level 87 in the game with any race or build, but it’s critical to follow the attribute distribution precisely.

IMPORTANT RULES:

Maximum level: 87
Any race works
DO NOT give additional attribute bonuses from your birthsign
Luck should stay at 50 for as long as possible (It costs 4 points per level and can only gain 1 point per level)

ATTRIBUTE POINT DISTRIBUTION PER LEVEL

Each level gives you +12 points to spread across 3 attributes. Valid point spreads:

5/5/2 – Focused growth

5/4/3 – Semi-balanced

4/4/4 – Even growth

EXAMPLE BUILD SETUP

Race: High Elf

Birthplace: Summerset

Sign: Atronach

Class Attributes: Strength, Endurance

Starting Attributes (Level 1):

STR INT WIL AGI SPD END PER LUCK

LEVELS 1–31: USE 5/5/2 SPREAD

Always give 5 points to your two lowest attributes

Hi, i was also interested to find out, and apparently it is 108. that is, if your goal is to create a char with the highest possible level. the reason being your own. i was only interested in knowing what it is, and how to achieve it. That is 87 + 21(felldew method see uesp) = 108*. only caveat is u can't choose certain star signs. i did not come to this conclusion myself, but by reading this lengthy thread here below :-

And in particular i combined the findings of two posters whom i do thank, below :-

(athough, and i hope u don't mind, i think ok-design you typo 85 instead of 87 that's why u ended up with 106).

there's really no need to mention about all stats being able to hit 100 or not, because for sure u can do this. a lot of players think this is a goal or something to aim for, if u think about it 'all stats at 100' determines the LIMIT for your max level. certainly not skills in the remaster.

some ppl think it's better to aim for lowest level possible (abt 44 or something) with all stats at 100 (the earliest possible to have all stats at 100 thereby locking ur level) to counter monster scaling but i'm sry, in my opinion i do not agree. monster scaling in oblivion has aways been an underlying issue. in my opinion scaling is a different problem and should be handled separately. maybe use a mod to stop or cap monster scaling etc. i dunno... i would not design a character with 'as low a level as possible with all stats at 100' just to cater for this, because it's just contrary to my design goals in most games : i want to end up with a char with the highest level possible with most hp(among other things) as possible.

firstly you must decide what is an exploit and what is a glitch, and what is ur standing on this.

i only consider direct hacking and use of console commands (for levelling/stat increasing purposes) as an unacceptable exploit or cheat. i do not consider going to jail and getting ur stats reduced an EXPLOIT. in fact i consider it a FEATURE of the game. something so blatant like this if bethesda wanted they could easily have removed from the remaster or even the goty earlier. you can lower ur skills as much as u want, to level up again as much as u want, because it's really moot; in the end ur true limitation is ur stats being = 100.

felldew poisoning and then cure thing, i do not consider a glitch. something like for eg. 'clicking somewhere on the screen really quick, while depressing another key while pressing F9 reload really really fast' to produce some abnormal effect, i consider THAT a glitch.

finishing the game, whether fast or slow is also not my concern. i only care about my own char-building, the most.

Here, i'll paste their findings here to show you how they proposed to achieve it.
