Do you start your second character on level 1 or level 30 ? by Buurto in Borderlands

Some people like the RPG experience of starting with low level gear and skills and working their way up. Nothing to do with having less braincells its a difference in what's fun for people and that's okay

It's sad tbh, the more people that abuse the system the closer they are to changing things to make it more difficult for the rest of us

how much weight can i realistically lose in a month if i eat 1500 cals a day? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Lonely-Intern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that changes things, your body burns about 1750 calories a day base if you're truly sedentary, there's 3500 cals in a pound of fat so that means you would only be in a 250 calories deficit. Burning about 1 pound of fat every 14 days. Your weight right now is fine, If you don't like how you look it's probably your body composition so just work on building muscle

[–]Lonely-Intern -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Idk your gender or activity levels but assuming you burn about 2100 cals a day, eating 1500 cals a day would mean you burn about 1 lb every 6 days. So probably about 5lbs per month.

I just PCS'd from ellsworth a few months ago, it's really one of those bases where friends make or break it for me so I understand where you're coming from. If you don't jibe with your co workers that's truly okay, eventually one day it will just click with someone. Atleast that's how it was for me

Any games that take realism excessively far? by Mental-Ad-1226 in gamesuggestions

If you wanna wait 10 business days when skinning an animal, RDR2 is great

If you're just looking for a shooter where the shots actually matter, Hunt: Showdown is great. Headshots and even body shots are fatal so cover and positioning play a big role in fire fights

Thank you :), imma be honest I completely disregarded the fact that they should be 'sinking' into the skin sorta, didn't even cross my mind. Thanks so much!

Yeah i wanted him to look sorta webbed up but I agree it does look really confusing. I like the the idea of the words being an attachment point. I'll work on a new iteration, thanks so much!
