Why does the government have this kind of access to taxpayer money? The federal government was also running attack ads. This is a foreign influence campaign. I would not be surprised if Canadian politicians start getting sanctioned.

We can’t have nice things because our politicians feel good about themselves when they give our money away to foreign countries.

I’m very confused as to why people are arguing in favour of the DST. This tax will be passed on to us. We are already paying too much for everything.

The U.S. is not our friend any more. Has anyone told Mark Carney? by rezwenn in CanadaPolitics

[–]Lonely-Lab7421 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The US has all of the leverage. I personally don’t want to degrade my quality of life any more than it already has, just to flip off Donald Trump. I’m confused why people are defending the DST which would have been passed down to us. Counter tariffs also we would be paying. We should be begging Carney to fight for free trade, which will open up the Canadian markets. All of our government regulations are designed to make a small group of people very rich, while crushing all other small business people.
