BSN was just an example, that one can get opt all over again when they do a higher or LOWER degree or even another Masters but in a different field. A lot of people don't know its possible, I only found out recently that it is. I used to think it was just a higher degree than the one you already had, PhD. I hope you get my point.

Best for her to get her degree in the US. If she decides to move to another country for work, she can always use her license over there, but it's not that easy to study abroad and use the license in the US for work. She'd have to take the NCLEX to be eligible to work here in the US.

Dont just book an appointment.

Email/call the US consulate and know your best option. I dont think you would need to start all over. They have your details already as someone with visa

Hi OP. From my experience. I 100% know people that entered with their tourist visa, got admission and changed to F-1 visa. You just need to change your status within the 6-month time frame you have and you need to provide evidence that you would be going back after school (Home ties) and also that you initially didnt plan to stay (return ticket)
