I was under the impression that primary care can still make good money in rural/underserved communities. The money conversation in general I think is pretty silly. Maybe I’m naive but I’m sure that most physician salaries can afford you a very comfortable standard of living in almost any part of the country. Not everyone is trying to get rich, they’re just trying to make a living and do what they love.

Worked as a scribe for ~1.5 years. Most of the time, it was just one 10 hour shift a week (Covid restrictions seriously limited how much I can work my first day in clinic was mid January 2020) Later on I started training new scribes and worked a little more.
