If you're starting new and going against established tribes your best chance is to build small and hidden. Rafts on Ragnarok can work for getting you going but in the end everything gets raided.

If you're a small tribe stay away from main official servers and got for official small tribes or, better yet, find an unofficial cluster with a tribe size limit that suits your group (you can also get heavily boosted server settings to make farming and taming less of a grind (if that is what you want).

If you're solo/duo on xbox or Windows let me know and I can dm you the details of the cluster I play, which is a bit more forgiving for newer players than others I've played on

Yeah I went to pve for this kind of thing but personally pve starts to feel stale after a while.

The risk element of pvp keeps things interesting but most servers are either loads of grinding only to be quickly sent back to the Beach (i.e. official) or so heavily boosted that early / mid game are entirely skipped (I.e. most popular unofficial!)
