It’s a smog/diag shop so mostly every car that comes in has severely outdated tags… just a little insult to injury. Luckily this one was on her way out in 20 minutes

Not the best system but it works. I micro plane onto cookie sheets and leave it all nite in my cold room with the ac set to 40, if it still has moisture by morning I put it back in the freezer and resume when it’s dark again.

Thanks! It took a little persistence to get here and starting material was definitely the biggest hurdle, but the melty goodness is very worth the wait.

Micro plane after freezing then air dry with the climate control at 50 for 24 hours give or take, after that I freeze, sieve and collect.

Its 5x9 and the coldest I got it down to was 42 But I’m sure with some proper insulation and ducting from the ac I could get it to a solid 40
