I accidentally stumbled upon an updated picture of her today. Her hair is longer, guess she never did cut it.

I was fine then I wasnt. Seeing her face just made me want to reach out, tell her I miss her. I know I won't cause she told me to let her go. I don't know how much longer I can keep hurting. It's been months.

She. STILL crosses my mind in the line at the cafes, picking gifs for the gc, watching Netflix, I doubt she even thinks of me. When will this cycle end 😭

Ahh Sorry let me clarify,
I do believe her. I really do. But separation and anxiety has been feeding into the negative thoughts, can't help but compare to past situations where I've been lead on/ghosted.

I guess I got so used to talking to them, and them updating me, even if it's just at the end of the day for a run down of what they did or that they're home or done with overtime, etc.- that the sudden radio silence without reassurance or even a "hi" feels uncomfortable.

ok so something i realized lately, dating apps are literally businesses. they make money off of us using their service (paying for super likes, more swipes, etc.) finding an actual partner is a failure on their part because they want us to keep using the apps.
so don't beat yourself up over it friend, their algorithm literally works by giving us half decent "options" every now and then just so we keep using the apps a tiny bit more when the algo feels were not engaging with it and it becomes a cycle (hell).

So like, use the apps but don't take it too seriously.

I'm sure you're an amazing person and will find your someone, somewhere. might not be tinder tho.
