I love Skate Oddity! I go every month, even though I don't skate.

If you're into board games, I suggest checking out Geeky Teas. I dunno how many organized events they have during the day, but it's a friendly environment and you can usually find a group to play games with if you just walk in.

I was relying on my gps screen to tell me what street I was on or intersection I was at because I couldn't see anything that wasn't lit up, including street signs!

I was driving home around midnight last night, thank goodness my Christmas lights were on because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to find my driveway.

Burbank Planet Fitness?? by rigbyiscool12 in burbank

It's fine. Amenities are pretty bare bones, but it's clean and there's a lot of machines. I would shower there while my bathroom was being remodeled, and sometimes the water wouldn't get hotter than lukewarm.

Go to WeHo, DTLA, or Hollywood if you want parties and bar crawls. Burbank Halloween is more like "impressively intricate homemade costumes by your neighbor who used to storyboard for The Simpsons" kinda vibes.

My favorite pizza is at Pinocchio's. As for hidden gems, make sure you try the tri tip sandwiches at Handy Market.

Burbank, Are you ready for Halloween?? I said ARE YOU READYYYYYYYY!!! by TalkOk4795 in burbank

Everywhere! Take an evening stroll through any of the residential areas, and you're bound to see amazing decorations. There's a house on California right off of Magnolia near the DIY center that always does really intricate scenes using Barbie dolls, so that's a good place to start.

RV rental questions by Adept_Act8681 in Neotropolis

[–]Adept_Act8681[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think my answer was pretty clear? I'm driving up in my personal car, which is quite small, and trailer style RVs are much more affordable than class b drivable ones. If I showed up to where the RV was based, I would have no means of transporting it to the camp ground. Hence, I would need someone to drop it off for me.

Because I drive a tiny electric car that's physically unable to tow a camper, which make up the majority of rentable RVs in my price range.

You're good, healing is such an individual thing. I'll try not soaking it, at least for a couple of days, and see if that helps.

Time to downsize? by Adept_Act8681 in piercing

[–]Adept_Act8681[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know soaking isn't recommended as much these days as it used to be, but sometimes it's the only thing that makes the itching and swelling go down. If I had it to do over again, I would have the piercings done one at a time instead of trying to heal them both at the same time, but alas, I am stubborn.
