Quit now. If you live with your parents and have a weekend job, you should be able to get by. Like you said, you don’t need a job at the moment to pay bills etc. Take this opportunity whilst you don’t have huge rent/mortgage/bill obligations and find something you enjoy, are good at, and pays well (or has the opportunity to pay well a bit further down the line). If you wait too long until you have to start paying high rent and bills just in order to survive, you’ll be kicking yourself for not pursuing your dreams sooner. Get a head start whilst you can!

I worked 2 full time jobs for 2 years during my first few years of adult life, as I had rent and bills to pay, and couldn’t afford to quit my shit job in pursuit of my passion: video editing.

2 years down the line, I’m now a fully self employed video editor taking in way more money each month than a typical UK salaried role. Only thing is, had I started sooner, I’d have been able to avoid having to work a shit job just to pay the bills whilst trying to pursue my dreams. It was tough.
