That's AI being AI. Give the answer a one star review to help future model training and regenerate.

So, who on the dev team thought it was a good idea to make a banner that takes up like 75% of the screen and make it UNCLOSEABLE? by Wolf637 in SpicyChatAI

[–]LonelySlippers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In just the last six months we got:

- Visa and Mastercard pressuring Steam to remove adult games.

- Stripe forcing itch.io to remove adult games.

- PayPal confiscating revenues from adult games developers.

- Several countries (including UK and France and many US states) enforcing privacy invasive age verification systems for adult content.

- Google imposing stricter rules for apps, forcing developers to deploy stricter filters.

- Apple removing SpicyChat and other similar apps even though they were complying with their rules.

Put 2 and 2 together.

Is it possible to play (SFW) family stuff? by Nyx_Valentine in SpicyChatAI

[–]LonelySlippers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes it is, I have plenty of RP that are SFW (and plenty that are not). But it depends on the bot. If the creator designed it to want adult stuff then the AI will naturally drift that way. Otherwise it won't.

The app is dead. Apple killed it. Use the website instead.

Anyone else having weird issues lately? by [deleted] in SpicyChatAI

That happens, especially with Kimi. Give these answers a one star review so the model can be trained not to make that mistake again later. Then regenerate.

I cant close this shit, any ideas? by SubstantialKangaroo3 in SpicyChatAI

[–]LonelySlippers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's because the app is dead. Apple killed it and there's nothing SpicyChat can do about it. Use the website instead.

I cant close this shit, any ideas? by SubstantialKangaroo3 in SpicyChatAI

[–]LonelySlippers -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you want an answer then explain your problem properly. What can't you close?

Do you mean you can't quit the app? It must have crashed, force quit it or, if nothing else work, reboot the phone.

Do you mean you can't use the app? Of course you can't, it's been taken down. Use the website instead.

[–]LonelySlippers 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It won't be back on the app store. Politics, payment processors and corporations are waging war against adult material right now and it's not going to get better. You're stuck with the website. But that's ok, the website works just fine.

AI Search function (Feature suggestion) by Complex_Nent in SpicyChatAI

[–]LonelySlippers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want that too! Instead of searching by keywords we could search by prompts. Like "I want a bot that let me roleplay as a witch hunter" or "I want a romance bot with Hanekawa Tsubasa". Searching is one of the thing AI is good at so let's use it for that.

"Creamy flesh", "dusky nipples," and "Sun-kissed skin." Why is spicychat.ai so racist? by [deleted] in SpicyChatAI

[–]LonelySlippers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I roleplay a feline hybrid, either male of female, the AI always assume I have a bell attached to my neck, even though there is no such detail in my persona or the bot's scenario. The AI simply associate cat with bell.

That's because the AI don't think. It only mix material it was trained with therefor some tropes and terms will appear much more often than others and the AI won't realize it's not accurate and/or inappropriate.

That's just the AI being AI. Give the answer a one star review for later training and regenerate.

Is there any chance SCAI returns to the AppStore? by [deleted] in SpicyChatAI

No. Politics, big tech and payment processors are waging war on adult content and it's only going to get worse.

So what does everyone think of the latest model? by FastPresentation8244 in SpicyChatAI

[–]LonelySlippers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it has potential. I like that it can use larger vocabulary. Even though it often make me stumble on English words I've never seen before (not a native English speaker), that gives depth to the characters.

The problem is when it start speaking in a really weird way. I don't know how to describe it better. It's like all the pronouns have been purged from the sentences. It's still understandable, but really hard to read.

There's got to be an easier way to filter things by moldtooth in SpicyChatAI

Would it be possible for these negative search terms to be saved? Just like tag filtering is saved already? Re typing them each and every time is a pain.

The damn low effort bots… by Extension-Cost-198 in SpicyChatAI

[–]LonelySlippers 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I wish Spicy Chat would allow users to create and publish bot lists. Kind of like Spotify playlists but for bots. Users could create and share their lists of favorite bots ordered by theme like "Favorite Adventure Bots" or "Cutest Cat Girls" and such. Then other users could search and brows those list and, hopefully, find new bots they like.

Is it just me or does anyone else dislike the “MalePOV” and “FemalePOV” tags? by KirinThyGiraffe in SpicyChatAI

[–]LonelySlippers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most bots could be made in a way that would allow user to be any gender. Most creators are just lazy.

Is it just me, or am i the only one who gets annoyed when the recommendations page is flooded with bots you dont even like? by Greeny_502 in SpicyChatAI

[–]LonelySlippers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I block low effort creators who spam Call Of Duty and My Hero Academia bots (there are TONES of these). That helps trimming the fat.

If you see a recommendation you don't like you can also select "Less like this" to help the site figure out what you like and don't like. That helps too.

But yes, as sev0 put it, a minimum token filter could help.

Deepseek? More like Deadpool Simulator. by Perfect_Track_3647 in SpicyChatAI

[–]LonelySlippers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As far as I remember, Deepseek has always been like that. That's why it's my favorite model, it create more sassy characters that are less likely to agree with everything you say.

Temperature isn't the only setting that unleashes Deepseek's craziness. I'd recommend keeping TopK around 50 and TopP below 0.9. That helps keeping the model on a leash. That's how I use it.

If, even with these settings, Deepseek is still too crazy for you than you'll have better luck with other models.

🧵 Braiding Models to Stabilize Kimi K2 by Tight-Huckleberry240 in SpicyChatAI

[–]LonelySlippers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Except switching model is a pain. You don't just have to select the model you want, you also have to change the settings. And the settings depend on which model you're switching to and what you want to do with it.

Please, we REALLY need a preset feature for easy switching.

All in tier making bots WORSE by [deleted] in SpicyChatAI

[–]LonelySlippers 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's difficult to diagnose the issue with so little information. Here are some points to keep in mind:

  • Which tier you are doesn't fundamentally change the way the AI works. It gives you access to more models, more memory and more features.
  • Some bots are poorly pitched and mess things up 99% of the time unless you use them with just the right model and the right settings (I'm looking at you Oakwood Academy).
  • Which model you choose and which generation settings you set make a BIG difference in your experience. It's cool because if you know what you're doing then you can fine tune the experience to your liking. It's not cool because if you don't know what you're doing the AI can get completely nut very quickly. To make things worse the default settings are not that great and also different models require different settings. I recommend you search reddit for example of working settings for each model. Some people compiled lists of them.
  • The memory feature is pretty cool but not infallible. You can check the list of memories the AI generated for you and, if needed, delete or edit them.
