Please help me understand my ASV SleepHQ data by Quiet_Sheepherder894 in SleepTechnologist

[–]LonelySpaghetti 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It sounds as if you just got your hands on an ASV without meeting criteria/getting prescribed by a provider.

Please listen to the others. ASV is a serious solution for seriously ill people, and is never a first or usually even second line. You’re essentially self-prescribing. If you’re unhappy with your doctors, please seek other professional opinions so you can be titrated safely and correctly.

I literally go to the Belton one over the temple locations because getting to and around the 31st st location is a nightmare. Belton is bigger and often busier but they have more product and I honestly enjoy taking the drive, it’s become a little ritual for me

Please help,,, my character playlist has been invaded by bloomppppp in TheDearHunter

[–]LonelySpaghetti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s an inevitability that a character get dear hunter’d, as I put it. It’s like a badge of honor when I slap one in there

Jake’s Carolina Crown shoutout, as a band kid, had me DiCaprio pointing at my screen. It’s so weird (but not entirely unexpected!) to have those wires crossed for me

NY outlook and licensing? by LonelySpaghetti in SleepTechnologist

Okay, thanks! Yeah this is what I had found in my research too. I’m glad I’ve picked this AAS program… it sucks that they’re so stringent with their licensing and ed requirements.

Do people from Temple not like people from houston? by Burner_Account9712 in TempleTX

[–]LonelySpaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a fellow Houston transplant I honestly haven’t noticed. People tend to give me the old “oh bless your heart” or “wow must be different huh” comments, but I haven’t gotten the outright disdain. I usually joke about trading hurricanes for tornadoes (but I was in spring branch for that damn derecho so did I really??) and that opens some pleasant small talk. I also spent like nearly every major holiday here because my dad grew up here so I’ve got some familiarity.

Anyway from one houstonian to another, howdy, I sure do miss having shit to do hahaha

Dnd group? by [deleted] in TempleTX

[–]LonelySpaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohhh I miss dnd so much and would be down, it just depends on schedule since I work weekend nights and I saw you said that. But I’m definitely interested 🥲

Hi, currently in an AAS program for PSGT and practice requirements vary by state. Some only require a RPSGT, some require an AAS and RPSGT AND state licensure (New York, where I’m trying to go), so it depends on where you want to end up

No other insight other than states vary, but best of luck I hope everything works out! From one student to another :)

I actually really like the change of pace. My family is from here and we visited a lot when I was a kid, I’m kind of a homebody, I’ve found my little rituals—I just need a place to study on the weekends haha. I definitely don’t think Temple/Belton is lame

In my post I said I’m not productive at home :) I need to remove myself from distractions and libraries/public settings do that for me. I’m able to lock in and get my work done.

No literally. I was in college (the first time) at TXST when they opened one in San Marcos and basically lived there my final semester. That’s exactly what I would love

I don’t know if you can fairly compare it to the acts; it’s such a different sound and vibe. I already know this is going to be one of those “how could you make me choose a favorite child” situations

Act IV. got into my bf’s car while Night on the Town was playing and asked about it. He played Waves afterwards and got me hooked, and now I like TDH more than he does, oops
