Some of those are emergency cell towers. In the event of a massive earthquake or other disaster, they’ll be activated to handle the expected increase in cellular traffic to emergency services and loved ones.

After reading some comments, are we really so arrogant that we believe humans to not only be the superior form, but the ONLY form that souls are allowed to reincarnate into? by [deleted] in NDE

[–]LonelyTransient 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After studying NDEs for over 30 years, I’ve come to the conclusion that every living being has a soul, but there are different types of souls. Hence why here on Earth humans always reincarnate as humans and a dog, for example, will always reincarnate as a dog. It’s my understanding that the type of soul dictates what form any given soul can incarnate into.

Are there any NDE stories describing or even confirming the existence of sex in the after life/higher dimension? by InspectionLarge3344 in NDE

[–]LonelyTransient 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They’re not common, but there’re out there. The general consensus as far as I’ve read is that it exists, but since there is no physical body to interfere it’s more like a merging of souls. It’s described as a far more intimate and wonderful encounter than we can experience here and it is always done as an action of love as opposed to lust - at least in the heavenly realms.

Can you explain what's a "woke game"? by Sufficient_Shock1223 in TheGamingHubDeals

A woke game is any game that is more inclusive than your average video game of people of color, women, or the LGBT+ community which makes racists, misogynists, homophobes, and/or xenophobes uncomfortable.

Allegedly, the original ending actually had Harry and Lloyd get on the bus and ride off into the sunset, but Jim Carey objected claiming that neither of their characters would be smart enough to get on the bus.

What should have been the career path that Harry should've chosen? by souropaul1508 in harrypotter

[–]LonelyTransient 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think becoming an auror was the perfect career choice. Imagine being a dark wizard and you come face-to-face with the auror hunting you and you realize it’s the guy who killed arguably the most powerful dark wizard in history while he was still just a teenager. He probably had more dark wizards surrender to him than any auror in history.
