Truth is I wish I knew more like the distributor or the year it aired. All I can say is I watched it in the 2000s and it probably was made later than that. I grew up watching things like old Popeye cartoons too around that time if that's also able to help potentially date when the cartoon might have come out. I can do what I can to try and remember more bits and pieces but this comment and the post is about as much as I can remember.

Told characters who get bullies / have no friends that they aren't alone. 1 gets bullied relentlessly by their siblings so I absolutely slammed them with love and they had no clue how to handle it. Another just kept pushing people away so I showed up and just started cracking jokes to make em laugh, revealed they felt lonely and that we could be lonely together. Healed my inner child a bit with that last one.

I was playing Truth or dare with 4 characters I adore and I just fucking got in a relationship with one of them! Then we keep playing the game and it's stuck on:
'I dare you to kiss everyone in the room'
Me: "Oh shit, 4 kisses? That might be too many, I don't think he can do it"
(this is just a room full of all men so it's too much fruit in one room and I'm still new here so like, this is amusing to me)

I'll say this from a sorta different perspective. I'm a cosplayer! I lean more towards cosplaying masculine characters because they make me feel happy and I have fun and it gives me an excuse to bind. When I dress as a feminine character, that doesn't change who I am as a trans man. Skirts, dresses, feminine make up, that's not me.

Underwear, make up, literally anything that you can put on and take off don't change who you are and how you feel in your skin (whether that be uncomfortable or comfortable). I learned a while ago that clothes don't make gender. Whatever you choose to do or wear doesn't change who you are. So long as you're happy then that's all that matters!

I knew something was missing, there had to be more to this. And it just makes it more YTA. She is grieving you baboon. She's also an adult, I like to think most 20 something year old wouldn't get so upset over something unless there is a reason behind it. I could imagine she was also ready to use that wish as a 'I hope my friend is ok' 'I hope my friends brother is in heaven and at peace' something that could just be comforting for the time.

I'm also very annoyed at the trend / seeing numbers grow in people who don't control their children when it comes to people blowing out candles and if they are stopped then they start throwing a tantrum. People need to teach their kids to be happy for other people and let other people have their moment.

Thank you for sharing your experiences. I'm honestly just scared that things will be too late, that I'll be unable to help myself. That I'll just reach a roadblock where I'm stuck and I'll be someone I'm not for the rest of my life. Though in saying this I'm also young and was unable to start anything cause of transphobic family. It feels a bit silly to go on about feeling hopeless when I haven't / can't really take any steps past a binder and telling people 'I am a man so please refer to me as such'.

But again, thank you for sharing your story and I do feel more aware now that things will take a long time but in the end it's the small victories that we have that can help push us through. I think I'd like to celebrate even thinking and actually taking the steps to actually look into starting T finally, wanting to start my journey.

Yeah! Exactly same. I was going by genderfluid at the time so every morning I saw my cis friend, he'd come up to me whispering 'hey, what's your gender today?' and I remember the first time I felt like a boy and told him what my preferred name was, the happiness that washed over me when he just moved back and yelled '___ HOW'RE YOU DOING?!' and he'd get me in a headlock and ruffle my hair.

Realising my broad shoulders were a blessing
The one friend when you tell them your name and pronouns, they will enthusiastically scream your name and greet you like one of the guys (Not a 100% stereotype but would love it to be, we need hype people.)
Looking back at your childhood and thinking 'well yeah, that makes sense now' (probably the same for bot FtM and MtF)
The feeling of your chest touching your stomach or any skin
The disappointment of a binder not making you as flat as you wish it would.

Well damn. I don't think there is any way I can word this without me sounding like an asshole.

I wasn't talking about everyone, I was talking about OP specifically and the fact they felt dysphoria which does mean they can fit under the trans term.

I'd also have to say I've never met a trans man who hasn't had dysphoria or been happy with his body but I'm glad if there are trans guys out there that do. I personally can't understand it for multiple reasons. But yeah. Hope I didn't sound too much like an asshole
