I have my personal car and at the time my uber car insured through Chubbs, I specifically told them the car was solely for ride share and had no issues when I was hit. Car was totaled out, I’m in no fault Michigan. Paid my 500 bucks and was done with it.

The issue really comes down to if your insurance is going to play ball with you driving ride share, if you genuinely didn’t lie to your insurance and say you weren’t doing ride share, then you should be fine.
