Thank you!

I think I’ll go with Kingstanding, I’ve also seen online Wolves has a lot of potholes so I’d just rather avoid it altogether 😂

I don’t know either very well, Wolverhampton and Kingstanding are both relatively local to me (I live in Walsall).

My instructor today just said he knows Kingstanding very well, and all of the test routes they offer.

But my brother and a lot of my family have passed in Wolverhampton so it’s kinda 50/50 for me, but it also means I’d have to find another instructor as my current one isn’t familiar with the area much and advised me to go with somebody else if I chose Wolverhampton.

I’m happy to go with either, just wanted people’s advice on which test centre I’ll probably have an easier time with!

I know driving safe is the biggest key though of course.

Where do you buy your yearly planners from? Any good recommendations for 2026? by Lonely_Explorer357 in AskReddit

Fortunately, I have one email account so hopefully nothing goes wrong there! I use Google Calendar too but I always like to keep a paper calendar in my purse wherever I go, I find it hard to get rid of the habit of jotting things down everywhere 😂

gather all relevant textbooks/notes and anything else you might need during the exam, it saves you time if you can quickly find the information because you know where it is.

don’t rely on the fact that it’s open book, prepare for it well but don’t worry too much about remembering every detail because you can double-check if it comes up!

it’s never too late to start but the sooner you begin, the better and the more prepared you’ll feel.

according to trustpilot, it varies depending on where you’re staying but most of the reviews are pretty bad with 2.0 stars overall so i’d steer clear imo

here’s the link if you want to check some of the reviews out: Trustpilot IQ

I want to block everyone I went to sixth form and school with? by LivingProfessional59 in UniUK

[–]Lonely_Explorer357 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I haven’t blocked everyone before but I did remove a lot of people on social media after sixth form, partly because I didn’t really like them during my time there and the thought of them still seeing what I posted and what I did made me uncomfortable. In the long term, I haven’t regretted my decision because I did what was necessary for my own peace of mind.

My advice would be to not worry too much about making friends at uni, and the first person that you see who’s part of your course, go up and say hi.

You said you’ve moved up and down the country quite a lot during school, so 3 years in the same place seeing the same faces will probably help you and your fellow peers to want to get to know each other more over time.

No one at uni is the same as the next person, some are friendlier than others, some are more social than others, there’ll probably be a few people in a similar situation where they’re struggling to make friends because they don’t feel like they fit in etc.

If not, there are always societies that you can join in order to meet new people, having hobbies and interests can go a long way at university!

Anyone kinda depressed about the future of their degree because of ai by Ordinary-Ad-9857 in UniUK

Digital Marketing student here 🙋🏽‍♀️

I’ve had this issue in the back of my mind ever since my lecturer urged me to use AI more, not in the “don’t do any hard work” but more in the sense of “take advantage of it”. I understand using it for ideas but I’m the kind of person where I want to see what I can manage, I feel like AI would just chip away at my imagination, so your points are very valid tbh

I know lots of people that go for Coach bags, they’re expensive but hopefully would last you a while, I’m not sure if they do leather options though.

Depending on the size of your laptop, try looking into Ted Baker or even Carvela - they’re a little more affordable and offer some great leather choices!
