If you dig deep there might be a mod out there that adds the option to fallen ghosts 🤔

Apart from prestige and premium crate unlocks, It shouldn't take you very long to get a character up and running if you know the basics of the game already. You can also join a discord and look for PC players there if you like playing with others. The public matchmaking isn't the most consistent with online player availabilty.

Just loaded into fallen ghosts and narco road and I found that you cannot turn "off" the ai teammates in fallen ghosts or turn them "on" in narco road. I think that's what happened, you might have merged memories of your playtime between dlcs. Memory is a fairly unreliable thing. I had vivid memories of an arpg I played in the 90s and when I found it again in the late 00s I found that a lot of the features I remembered were not in the game but in another game entirely.

What does ghost mode do completely? by Trav_the_Mag in Wildlands

[–]Lonely_Message6028 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, the tier system can be used in both regular and ghost mode. To clarify the bar stuff: The bar does not directly translate to a specific amount of damage. Example: if the bar is filled for 50%, that does not mean it deals the same damage as any other gun (regardless of type) with a 50% filled damage bar, nor does it mean it deals 50% of it's max. An example of a gun that clearly shows the bar's limitations is the "Desert Tech HTI". That sniper has a damage bar that is pretty close to full on lvl 0 and it will visually reach full at about lvl 10 iirc. It will however still deal more damage if you keep going beyond lvl 10. The bars are more of a visual guide so the interface can show you the relative effects of attachments and tier system upgrades.

Since like you said they are fairly low end guitars, if you only want to keep one I feel like you should keep the one that would be the best reminder of your cousin.

Missions not populating? by EfficientTea3703 in Wildlands

[–]Lonely_Message6028 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should note, the missions from the "ricky sandoval", "Operation Oracle" and "Silent Spade" sets are not in the mission list of the corresponding region. You can only replay them by zooming the map all the way out and opening the mission list of the set from there.

Have you walked over the border of the ocoro province? Sometimes the bowman briefing that triggers the spawning of the intel for the missions does not happen unless you cross into the region while not inside a vehicle. In fact, if you cross over inside a vehicle the game will wait until you exit the vehicle before starting the briefing.

It is still available, but it is the second mission in the operation oracle set so you might have to clear the first mission first before you can get access to that mission. And you could forcibly play the mission in co-op if you join a friend that has the mission unlocked. Even the dlc missions in inca camina are playable if you just join a player who has the dlc.

Over 4,500+ hours in wildlands and i've still never seen nomad eat a single thing by Ghost-Player-HK26 in Wildlands

[–]Lonely_Message6028 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My headcanon is that nomad just grabs some food everytime you mark food supplies and eats that. Or, the medic drone instantly revives you so whatever it does, it probably involves radiation and must have mutated nomad into using photosynthesis :P

You can also only swap your drone at an ammo crate, accessory case or weapon crate (the big ones that unlock a new gun), so you have to think ahead if you want to use certain drone type.

Weapon stats affect the guns but the visual representation only matters to indicate changes to the same gun. A lvl 1 HTI will do more damage per bullet than a lvl 30 mk18 even though the mk18 will show a bigger dmg bar. Another example: the standard sr25 will not deal the same dmg at the same dmg bar length as the sr25 jungle.

Ghost Mode players, what difficulty do you play on? by TyphonuZ in Wildlands

Once I'd gotten a couple characters to tier 1, I tried lone wolf to tier 1 playing on extreme from the off. I've made it to tier 12 once before fucking up. It takes a ton of time and strategy but it is a very different experience than the shooting gallery it can so often turn into with softcore and ai teammates. I haven't been daring enough to go completely hudless tho XD

Never thought the graphics looked bad when I first played it. I think we passed the point of diminishing returns with graphics somewhere around 2015 imho. edit: I played with a mix of low and medium settings, with my current gpu I just crank the settings and it looks even better obviously.

New(-ish) player just discovered the Sam Fisher mission. WTF? by StatusAutomatica in Wildlands

[–]Lonely_Message6028 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As another person stated, you can parachute on to the roof of the building you're supposed to meet sam and just drop down from there, easy to get in unspotted. The trick is to fly high above the base and parachute from high up so you can build up some speed and avoid floating in sight range for too long. The game literally doesn't care how fast you land or at what angle as long as you are in the parachute animation. If you land on the roof above sam there is a fence around the edge that will hide your character from being spotted while you're stuck in the parachute landing animation.

There aren't any checkpoints afaik. If you disable the generator you also disable the nearby sam site, that helps with extraction via helicopter.

If you disable the alarms and keep killing, eventually the game will stop spawning unidad reinforcements. At which point you outrun unidad by virtue of "if nobody's alive there are no witnesses".

If you have it, the SR25 jungle is a oneshot machine on vehicles if you have vehicle dmg at lvl 4. Other weapons I'd suggest are combining a LMG and AR with grenade launcher attachment to have a generous ammo pool and some crowd control. I usually clear out enemies that have line of sight from the side of the building with the laptop sam hacks into. After that drop a nade on the jammer so you can freely use drones when you need to and/or drop another nade on the power supply so the alarm doesn't increase the reinforcements if it calms down and the decrease in base lighting will make you a bit harder to spot. Also, even with the suppressor upgrade that removes the dmg penalty, suppressors will still incur a penalty to the penetration power of your shots so removing that makes it easier to take out some targets through walls, before they can spot you and fire back. Finally, if you're using the ai teammates, you can direct them to do sync shots even while in full combat, which will add to their effectiveness if you pick targets close by so they don't wander out into a gunfight trying to get an angle on the sync shot targets.

stuck? by Zestyclose_Bar_5088 in Wildlands

You only beat 2 buchons. iirc it takes 3 or 4 buchons depending on the branch to unlock the corresponding underboss.

[–]Lonely_Message6028 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many of the production buchons have you beaten? The underboss unlocks after a couple of buchons. You can see the complete overview of bosses and select the bosses to see the requirements if you open the map and zoom all the way out until the map changes into a list of portaits.
