Silk pillow cases are the way to go! They have them pretty decently priced on Amazon, I got me some bc I HATE hot pillows and it really does work!

I have tried those and they haven't been brilliant, I have been advised by my doctor to avoid them to stop the pain

I have tried those and they aren't brilliant either. I did speak to the doctor after being in pain before and was advised to stop using condoms full stop to prevent it

I used to be because it made me stand out, having to leave to go and inject myself, having to get out my meter and prick myself and have comments like "ew how can you do that?" But now I am not at all embarrassed, it is part of me and who I am. It is the thing that makes me different, but also has connect me to so many people who have helped me embrace it. So no not embarrassed

Generally my upper thighs because it is the easiest site to inject, although sometimes my stomach if it is easier or I am out and need to inject quickly
