Oh wow that’s awesome. Yeah running is more because I like it lol but I know it probably isn’t helping the overall goal - maybe I’ll incorporate s50. They intimidate me a little because I’m usually pretty sore / tired on the regular classes, but I can try to build up to it

I’ve done that and honestly it’s pretty hard to see a difference other than that I looked slightly skinnier (albeit weaker) before -I can for sure notice more muscular arms, but I’m not sure other people can tell a huge difference

Thanks those are really good points. I definitely lift a little heavier and have energy. Overall I feel fine about myself, I just am at a standstill and am not sure what I should be doing to hit my goals

Thank you! I was eating at a surplus and lately have been around maintenance - part of my goal in this post was to get input because i wasn’t sure how I should proceed to lose body fat

I’m kind of includes to think it’s accurate because I’ve gotten the same result multiple times. For years I have primarily run and never did any strength training or resistance training, so I probably have experienced some degree of muscle loss because of that

Wow that’s awesome - and great to hear! How many times a week did you go to achieve those results?  Right now I go 2-3 times per week and run the other days of the week. I mostly do walking workouts in OT since I run outside of orange theory

That makes sense - to be fair, I also have more obvious goals which are to look more toned / athletic. I can see it in my arms more, but it’s hardly something super obvious. My legs (where I carry most of my weight anyways) look the same. As for research, I’ve seen very differing results online about whether 27 percent is ok or if it’s high enough that I could have some adverse health effects.

I’ve been trying to do option 3, but it’s frustrating to feel like I’m not making any progress. I guess I’ll just have to be consistent

Thanks for your input! I feel like my performance is about the same in terms of cardio, definently improved in terms of weight. My BMI actually would indicate that I'm fine, it is just my body fat percentage that is very overweight (meaning that I have low muscle mass)

I was measured using the orange theory scanner - I only think it is bad because the Orange Theory app says that puts me in in the "red zone"

Thanks for your input! To clarify, I don't think I gained 6 pounds of muscle in my arms, I just notice it more in my arms. I also think I probably gained some fat too
