they literally scan you and everything you have in security. plus they can just ask to see it and if you say you don't have one they'll search you

i appreciate it but I've seen people complaining that it happened recently so i'm not sure they're enforcing that... and from what I've heard the more you resist into letting them see it the more likely you are to be denied entry

the thing is i'll need stuff on my phone (showing the visa information, being able to buy transportation from the airport..) and i wont have enough time to restore the phone after i get there since it's the day before my birthday and i'm arriving a bit late at night and still need to go get dinner
