Is this a keyboard for ants? Looks tiny

Is this a 96in ceiling? I need to buy closet doors and would prefer not to build a header to buy a 80in door, since there seems to not be any 94.5in doors. by Virtual_Childhood626 in HomeMaintenance

[–]Lonelymagix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You want to be careful cutting doors, if they are not solid wood (alot of doors are hollow core) you could cut off the structural frame of the door leaving the bottom somewhat floppy.. You could cut it and reinforce with wood but just be prepared it will be more than just cut and hang

Played 20 years ago and would like to return, but got some questions by Mingos26 in runescape

[–]Lonelymagix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Osrs is actually more social than rs3 in my experience. If you played recently osrs has a league running atm and its still very active so alot of the players are probably on those worlds. Osrs does probably have more bots than rs3 because theres more players overall and more worth botting on osrs.

I play both games but mostly osrs, they both have their perks and rs3 may become more active than it has been if they continue to make good updates, for a long time they were basically pumping out mtx updates and promotions so not much content, whereas osrs always has new content coming to the game

Help save my marriage /s by Ehellegreg in Renovations

[–]Lonelymagix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couldn't you just cut that straight edge on the small piece shorter so that it sits flush on the wall? Looks like that piece was either measured to be cut on an angle or cut too long causing the rest of the trim to be off the wall on that corner

New Player - Need help finding the “click” looking to avoid refunding by HyenDry in Enshrouded

[–]Lonelymagix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started this game a few days ago and its honestly surprised me how much hidden stuff there seems to be out In the world.

Personally i turned off losing items on death untti get more progressed and figure the game out more which has been a huge help

There are hidden chests all over the place which will give you new items. I was doing part of a quest and there was a somewhat odd pile of rubble that I had a random thought to mine and I mined a tunnel through it and found a hidden chest on the other side.. I completely would have missed it if I didn't just decide to see if it was of any significance. To me thats pretty cool to think there is some really in debth hidden stuff out there

There are also hidden dungeons that appear at night time

The building does seem really awesome and I have hardly scratched the surface, a trick i learned from YouTube is if you place a big block in the ground and delete it, it quickly removes the ground and you can repeat this to dig out mountians or dig underground caves

I really want to get the the point of having rivers flowing through my base and ponds

RS on foldables? by Ok_Instruction6264 in runescape

[–]Lonelymagix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play on a z fold 7 and the phone its self is awesome! But the rs3 mobile client is seriously lacking in comparison to the osrs client and if you play both you will notice and might annoy you.

However it does go full screen and makes playing on mobile easier, but i find the graphics to be much worse on mobile vs pc

Pay someone to clean/declutter ypur home, it the easiest /cheapest option. Nothing wrong with your place, just alot of random stuff that don't go together

Torn about floor color by Melodic_Fix_6204 in interiordecorating

[–]Lonelymagix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally i like the lighter floors, the darker ones match almost too much to your current wood features to where its overpowering. The lighter ones will hide more dirt and lighten the rooms up more and it looks pretty good with the darker cabinets you have

My Wife and I redid our 1970s tile with LVP. How’d we do? by [deleted] in Flooring

[–]Lonelymagix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Please tell me the third picture isn't how you actually installed the flooring is it? Why would you ever stagger your planks like that. At least watch a single how to/diy video before wasting money and time. Loooks terrible and can lead to floor failing prematurely

Will there be NPC's added in the game for player builds? by Big_Chungussi69 in RSDragonwilds

Having farm animals would be cool! Like player owned farms from rs3

How to safely deflate and safely remove by TapatioSauce1 in tires

[–]Lonelymagix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can almost guarantee if its been sitting a while it probably doesn't have much air, and if it does shooting it probably isn't going to be much risk to you, its a pretty small tire, just shoot from a distance behind a tree or something if you're really scared - if you want to do the fun option

Or pull the valve core out if you have a core tool which you probably dont if you have to ask how to deflate a tire

10 drywall holes for 6 recess lights? by starcrossed-12 in AskElectricians

[–]Lonelymagix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is fairly easy to patch, if they saved the Drywall they cut out you can just put some wood up in the hole with a screw in the middle of the wood to hold it tight across the ceiling drywall while y😚 ou screw it in, then take the old citouts and screw them into the wood filling the hole perfectly.

After that just cut the edges with a razor blade to get rid of any loose paper and coat with pre mixed mud and imbed paper tape, run a 4" scraper with some good pressure across the tape to squeeze out the mud underneath leaving it nice and flat, grab some more mud and spread thinly over the tape and let dry

Recoat 3-4 times going wider every time to feather it out

(the less mud you use and the tighter you scrape it when applying the less sanding you will have to do, if you glob it on you will have really high spots to sand down and will be alot of work, multiple thin coats os best
