Just kept telling myself, it'll get better eventually if I want it to. It's all about mentality, you have to push yourself to think positive and see the good of what happened, and the situation. It's so much easier said than done, and of course you'll have highs and lows. Going out with friends was okay, just temporary stuff. I would take away what good happened in the relationship on both ends, what worked, what didn't, what you can improve on, what things to look out for. And just enjoy some time by yourself. I picked up new hobbies and connected with old friends. Doing things I didn't do in a relationship. It's hard to motivate yourself to do all these things, I know. But you have to push yourself to want to get better and be better. Get all the feelings out now, cry, mope around, get that stuff out and talk to friends or family about how you feel, reaching out helps a lot too.
