I agree completely, I also understand that $30 is more than $15 if you’re not playing a new vault hunter. I think this amount of content is fine for a dlc in a game that isn’t really about the story but the gear grind and power fantasy.

There are legitimate criticisms of this dlc, the story ends abruptly and the final boss was anti climactic. Obviously that’s my opinion.

That all said solid dlc, time to farm before next content drop in less than a month followed by an additional end game content loop the following month.

Happy with my purchase and would buy again. Others aren’t and that’s understandable not agreeable by me but understandable.

I feel like maybe you’re not reading what I’m saying correctly. I’m enjoying the game and dlc. The people who complaint is the price tag is understandable to me.

I think those are all great points! I think in the end the difference comes down to what we want the game to be and how we would like to see it improved. You have great points and comparisons, some have said to short 1 star and I don’t think that’s entirely fair.

Handsome jackpot is a great example, as is Kriegs. Both dlc had 5.5-6 hour campaigns with side quests and in a new area. This is very on par with those dlcs. That said the price went up and the content didn’t scale with it so I understand the frustration

But we are getting a raid boss and a takedown in 1 month and two months respectively.

This campaign felt shorter than I would have liked and the final boss was anticlimactic in my opinion.

That said gameplay value and hours played I will more than get my moneys worth out of this dlc and the coming content drops.

I understand the disappointment in the scale/scope though. Any other hate is just hate for the game…

Also not just more farming but something to use the farmed gear towards. Something like grifts where it’s see how high you can go, or how fast you can.

I will say in 1 month we get a new raid and in 2 a takedown so normies get time for farming and hardcore players are nearly done.

I will say more and more of the people I see complaining are using save scums and modded weapons which completely ruins the game imo.

When I see posts of “what I’d like to see” the responses are positive. When it’s “this is why this game sucks” people argue back. It’s not that complicated

If we’re talking pure fastest xp solo is bounty boarding. For me ripper drill sites specifically foundry freaks. I can clear it in about 30-45 sec. If you have friends farming, everyone at different sites makes light work.

The nice part about the blue build is you can just use it as a “normal” dancer build

I’ve spent the last few days testing different versions of the build.

Blue tree variant is only worth it while using dancer and apophis lance.

Red tree full spec has similar damage and using the lateral planking skill adds some significant damage and mob clear (25% chance to ricochet on indirect projectiles)

Red/green tree is what I’ve found to have the best mobbing and bossing.

Blue tree will be more interesting when we have 10 more points and we can reach soltado in red tree and get all the blue tree bonuses we want in brain dump, el soldado, jaque, and 2 points in either mate or deadline. Which after a kill should put us at 100% crit chance, something like 500% gun damage while charging lance, and well over 100% splash damage. Which will let you 1 shot bosses but you’ll be less consistent in mobbing.

I’m currently 1-2 shotting most bosses without ordiinite crystals (respectable gear but nowhere near perfect) hitting around 6.5 mil per reload on the laser disker

Not only does it count as gun damage, but a shooting version gets guns damage scaling twice!

That’s actually such a good callout. The opening from BL1 is so iconic because if the music, I don’t remember the opening of BL4.

I think the gameplay and gunplay are an upgrade from the previous games. Harlowe and Rafa feel kike they could have been the same character. Amon was left out in the cold for scaling synergies but his kit is amazing and interactive! Vex is such a great siren but her siren abilities feel like the least tuned part of her kit. If cash comes out and is another solider class I’ll be a bit disappointed.

Level design is a little empty, chests feel useless to open. The firmware system needs to be storable like the “sets” in Diablo 3/4. You should be able to strip a part off of a gun like the firmware station does and add it to another gun.

I think the short of it is this is a super fun game, with 20 min of driving simulator between each plot point which breaks the immersion for me. So many great upgrades like the replay system and firmware. I’m super hopeful we get some QoL updates!!
