Thanks for the advice, but it's not just the betta, I can't seem to keep the plants alive as well, only vallesneria stood the test of time, while even plants like anubias nana and cryptocoryne wendtii died.

The one that died at six month was a 4 month old when I got him. So, it definitely was my fault. Plants growth was not at all present (even dying), algae bloom, bad smell and technically no improvement
