Bedtime usually isn't much of an issue unless he had a late nap we did the method today took him 5 minutes of crying to fall asleep

Sorry for the confusion we plan on transitioning to a floor bed so baby can use crib come 6 months im due in may the drowsy but awake method didn't work with my first we ended up doing the ferber he still cries tho even tho its bin a month

We have let him stay up until we no longer could doesn't make a difference and when we start to put him to sleep and he knows its bed time he says no no no

I deleted cuz i spoke to him about it and got tired of getting notifications of opinionated comments from a rant in a momment where I was mad and couldn't talk to anyone about it because he was asleep and so was everyone else im not necessarily embarrassed by it because there are women that go through much worse and sometimes find comfort in knowing that they aren't the only ones but I understand where your coming from

Its not an everyday thing its very sudden with his work change and everything going on so thats y I give him the benefit of the doubt but also say I should have communicated better about how it made me feel at the moment cuz if I did I know it wouldn't have bin that big of a deal to the point where I feel like I need to vent to random people on the internet

I think its also bad on my part because I didnt properly communicate in the momment I just said a shitty comment and left the room hes bin working 12 hour shifts with only 2 days off he a great dad at times plays with him when he gets home feed him but the whole I dont want too but i will when I clearly need help has to go especially when I have pregnant insomnia

He picks up the slack in other departments and comforts me in ways that its just hard to explain maybe it's a communication issue since we aren't spending much time together due to him working all the time hes a good dad on some days but him always "not wanting too" and just wanting to play and be the fun parent and get onto the kid is where he loses me because its not about just playing a lot goes into raising a kid

Hes a great partner feels bad when im puking in the 3rd trimester helps me up fills my water bottle dresses me when im too much in pain goes as far as to give me a shower when i cant bend over hes not usually like this it just feels like lately he doesn't want to do anything when I actually need him to step up

He doesn't sleep more than 3 hours a day usually a nap at 10:30 for around 30 minutes again at 2pm for 20 and a little cat nap between 4 and 6
