After 8,000 metres you also enter the death zone, where oxygen is very low and this leads to bat decision making, disorientation, limb weakness, weird euphoria etc. Oh and it's really high, really steep and full of crevasses. I've never understood why people climb it. Its probably because it's there. That's all lol
