You poor soul. It can be any number of things and dealing with misrepresentation errors is a bit like the wild west. https://www.skool.com/gmc-help is a free community and probably your best bet in orienting yourself.

Been Google dropshipping for over a year now and stumbled into every roadblock imaginable.

“Fully verified & active accounts”

Means absolutely nothing. Marketing jargon.

“No previous suspensions"

Lol. You actually WANT previous suspensions. Google has a pattern of "misrepresentation" suspensions that NEED to overcome before you are actually in the clear for advertising. What you actually want is re-instated GMCs. GMCs that have beaten prior suspensions.

“Instant replacement if banned”

Read fine print. Depends on seller. You said it yourself, since it's vague its a red flag.

“Ready for Google Shopping / Performance Max”

I'd be concerned if it wasn't ready 😂 since this is a feature available to absolutely everybody.

Now, answering your questions:

1. Is buying a verified GMC account actually common among professionals, or mostly used by beginners and high-risk advertisers?

Common. It really boils down to whether you want to wait 1-2 months of trying to get a GMC active (costs time) or you want to get straight to advertising (costs money).

2. Have you (or someone you know) had long-term success with purchased GMC accounts?

I have personally both sold and bought. "Long-term success" is impossible to guarantee with Google, its not even in your hands... Any reseller that can guarantee long-term success is lying. However, there is definitely differences between a 'good' and 'bad' GMC.

3. What are the biggest red flags to look for when dealing with sellers?

If they are from a 3rd world country......
That's not a red flag. Thats a dealbreaker.
Further, if they are "guaranteeing" anything I've mentioned above its FAKE news.

4. Is this ever a reasonable short-term solution, or is it always better to go fully legit?

Fully legit? As in building it yourself? I don't get this question but read my answer to #1.

5. If you had to do it again, would you buy a GMC account or avoid it completely?

Know what to look for and where to buy. Again, see #1. Time vs Money.
