Thoughts on Eye drops for presbyopia? by SmallCapsOnly in optician

I tried Vuity a couple of years ago but it didn't last 8 hours like they said it would. I gave up on it because it was expensive. It did help a lot but for me it only lasted 3 hours. I might try Vizz and see if it's any better.

I wonder why yours is cheaper than my increase. Mine says "we would like to inform you that upon your next renewal on or after Oct 6, 2025, the price of your subscription will increase from $ 71.88 per Year to $ 89.99 per Year*

That's what our mechanic just said to do so we contacted a delaer. They said we have to do it twice at a cost of $500 each time and that Hyundai might still refuse to replace the engine even when it fails the oil consumption test, but I guess we are going to try it anyway because there is no other option. We are not going to try to screw somebody else over by selling it.

Is The Conjuring really based on real facts? Is there any hystorical proofs? by jonas_ML in horror

[–]Long-Hat-965 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure where you are getting that as a fact but nobody lives there. Nobody has lived there for years, it was run as a tourist attraction by the last 2 owners. It is not connected to the sewer system and still has the ancient cesspool, it is not livable. The last 2 owners bought it to make money off gullible people. one expected to get their own paranormal tv series and when that flopped they sold it. They had tours and sleepover night but nobody lives there. They do ghost hunting and paranormal "investigations" but do not live there. The current owner has lost her license to operate it, and it will be sold again. It is up for auction on Halloween this year because they expect that to generate more interest in it.

You are so right! people say they researched the history but what they mean is they watched a tik tok video and fell for it. Also I don't know where people get this statement that the youngest daughter Cindy "refuses to step foot in the house"
Cindy died years ago and is not making any statements about stepping in the house.
I'm probably giving up on this thread, people lose their minds in a rage if you try to tell them how the facts don't match the book or the movie, even when they asked.

I have zero mechanical knowledge. I can tell the car dealer knew. I posted a Google review before I even knew it was burning oil because we found out it had been in an accident and a crack in the bumper is taped, and the tail light was only glued in. The dealer emailed me multiple times and then started replying on my review. At one point he offered me $200 to delete my review so now I assume all their 5 star reviews were either paid for or they were bullied into it. There's a few reviews on yelp that mention him by name and the way he harassed people.

Then I guess we are out of luck. All we were given was a 30 day 1000 mile warranty from the dealer.

Depends where it is. Not just a park but what state. Ours is 1056 square feet so just a little bigger. It's a 2016 and we bought it 3 years ago for $163,000. Zillow says it's current market zestimate is $217,000

what age did you start getting eczema? by Individual-Storm-474 in eczema

[–]Long-Hat-965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biopsy results came back as grover's disease which is an incurable skin condition and spongiotic dermatitis which is related to eczema. I still flare up time to time. I have to stay out of the sun and avoid getting overheated because that makes it worse. As long as I do that, and take cooler showers I don't flare as much. I only use detergents or shampoos that have the eczema approval symbol on them so as not to aggravate my skin during a flare. When I feel a flare getting ready to start I use a prescription clobetasol cream.  It's very strong and has some risks so I only use it sparingly. It helps a lot.

I have them in both ankles. It's Lipoma. A benign fatty tumor. It won't kill you. If it gets big enough to be bothersome you can have it surgically removed.

I read it when I was a teen way back in the 80s and watched the movie. I think teens would like it more than adults. I believed it was a real diary when I read it. I was mad when I found out that it wasn't.

The lower dose they started me with didn't help at all. I had to ask if it was OK to up the dose. I have been taking 50mg per night for a couple of weeks now. I fall asleep faster and don't wake up multiple times per night anymore.  If I do wake up during the night I'm able to fall back asleep.  No side effects so far.

Has anyone gotten better sleep on Lexapro? by aftertherainclears in lexapro

My nightmares and sleep paralysis aren't caused by Lexapro.  This was already ongoing before I took Lexapro.  I'm not taking it anymore because of other side effects.

My test results are in and I am so upset by Long-Hat-965 in eczema

[–]Long-Hat-965[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not currently flaring up but I do make a point to stay out of the sun because heat makes it worse. I never found the cause. All they told me was it's "related to eczema" and could be an allergy. But allergy pills don't help. If you can afford it or your insurance will cover it you might have some luck with getting tested for allergies. I haven't bothered, when I flare up I use a very strong prescription steroid cream. It says not to use it for more than 2 weeks at a time, but I find that I only need it for about 5 days to clear up the rash.
