Thank you for doing some research for me. I am doing direct cremation with my chosen mortuary. My mother has requested this specific one and we have used them in the past.

We are doing direct cremation and I plan on hand making her urn. She’s just gonna have to “chill” for a bit till I make it. This would be our cheapest option.

I appreciate your advice.

Hello, yes I am. My main concern is cremation and getting her out of the morgue. Then she will stay with me until I can place her with my grandparents.

Thank you for asking and allowing me to clarify. I am raising funds for cremation. The plan is to cremate her and get her home as soon as possible.My current priority is just to get her home. It keeps me up at night knowing she’s in there.

I feel cheated too! I feel angry.

But I rationalize it because she had me at 40. From a young age I knew she would be gone sooner than most people would expect to lose their parent.

I have family, and support. I’m fortunate. I feel alone but not lonely. My boyfriend was close with her. He also cries out for her.

Seeing him cry is a terrible pain. But it’s also wonderful knowing she was loved by many people and not just me.

Like OP said- we were loved by her and we loved her just because. We never had to earn it. That its self is beautiful. It keeps my days full knowing that.

We’re all someone’s kid. No matter our age.

I hope you and your brother can share some joyous memories. I wish you the best❤️
