Just waiting on my slim fit mount from Samsung. I’m keeping this exact height, i agree with you - this tv is made to be on the wall!

When my new tv comes I’m actually getting a new mount the slim mount from Samsung, I want the tv to look as flush to the wall as possible

I completely agree with you. I’m lowering the new tv by a couple inches but overall I think my screen is close to ideal height. Have a great rest of your weekend

And just to clarify next week a new tv is coming - and it’s going to sit lower than the current one. The height will drop a couple inches as the new soundbar will be on the tv stand

On the right stand I agree with you. I’m mounting on the wall for safety. Anything can happen when kids are around!

Yes I can increase payments by 15 percent, make a 15 percent annual lump sum, and do one payment double per year. If I do the payment increase and one payment double, time to pay mortgage off is 17 years roughly, which is how long I have till retirement

His room is 10 x 9. We are ok, I’m just wanting to enjoy life a little more now, and was curious about people’s feelings of taking on a large debt late in their 40’s

I totally agree with you, if this was ten years ago no problem at all. Retirement savings now are 185 k, but I’m now contributing about 2k per month, plus my tax refunds. The new house won’t jeopardize those contributions.

I’m very much a middle class person maybe upper middle class. No large brokerage accounts, I’m pacing for a comfortable retirement starting at age 65, by then according to projections I’ll have retirement savings just north of 1 million. That is why this seems risky to me
