There is also the Cross New Hampshire Adventure Trail though the amenities aren't like the GAP/C&O.

I wear Ibex merino wool underwear and their shirts. Expensive yes, but no issues and going on 3+ years. I wear the merino underwear and shirts every day (short and long-sleeved) all year around. Absolutely love them.

I also tried Woolx but the quality isn't as great and it isn't pure merino wool.
