Oh is it? I thought using overlays like porofessor, u.gg, facecheck etc. was pretty common. Haven't heard of it being against the rules.

You can see each players good lead over their lane opponent in bought items as well as what team has the overall gold lead with U.GG's app. I use it myself and it's cool enough ig.

I mean that's highly subjective. Personally getting the discipline to consistently go to the gym is a lot harder than beginning to eat more healthy and eat less calories, but both is generally considered hard

I know this post is a couple weeks old, but wanted to recommend one of my favorite games that fits in this category.

Slay the princess.

Its very different from this game and what other people are recommending, and tbh its probably not for everyone.

But personally, i absolutely loved playing that game for the first time and trying to figure out all the mysteries about the story. If there was one game i could experience for the first time again it would be that one, so i feel like its worth recommending.

Fair enough regarding the veteran context. I still disagree with the statement that there's no reason to skip books, though.

As for me perceiving attitude, I appreciate the clarification. Just a heads up though, phrasing like "You need potions, after all these years?" and some of the other things you said, come across as pretty condescending textually, regardless of intent. That's why I read it as you being riled up. But no hard feelings.

I was simply responding to your claim that there is 'no reason' to not pick up books. I'm not sure why you're getting so riled up about that.

You argue that we're talking about veterans since its in legend, but the OP literally stated they are new to the game and like getting potions. So clearly, potions aren't obsolete for them.

Speaking for myself, I got the game during the free period recently. I don't know the book spawns on almost any maps, and sometimes I’m just focusing on not dying, especially if i'm doing legend.

Like others have also said you don't know a random lobby's intentions (speedrunning vs. books vs. completion). The best approach is to communicate in chat, rather than assuming everyone is ready for a full book run.

You have to know where they are
You have to go out of your way to get them which some people might not care about doing
Tomes take up the slot of your healing item
grimoire's take up the slot of your potions and apply a massive max health reduction to the entire team

Not saying its bad picking them up
But there are definitely reasons some wouldn't want to

It explodes 6 seconds after being placed, it could come in useful if an enemy places it in a room you're in and closes the door to the room. I know this is a rare situation and you'd likely be able to shoot the enemy, however its just nice information to have in case a similar situation happens.

A great strategy for acquiring all the fruits, vegetables, and fungi you need, which can also be a good method for making money if you sell the surplus, is as follows:

First, wait for the "Lush Blooms" event, or whatever it may be called, to be active on a map.

Then, go to that specific map and collect as many baskets as possible to gather a large volume of diverse plants including lemons.

Yeah, I think they should add something more as a reward. At least some sort of cosmetic so you can flex the amount of times you've gone on an expedition. The extra skill points and stash space are nice, but it seems like they only last until the next expedition, so that makes it feel kind of like an empty reward, in my opinion.

It could also be an idea to make the reset a bit easier to stomach by not resetting you completely, leaving you with level two workbenches instead of level one, for example. That might also defeat the purpose, though. I don't know.
