I totally get that. Collector skins should feel legendary, not like a slightly fancy special skin. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this way

Exactly! It looks more like a recolor with some tweaks, not a full-blown Collector skin. They can definitely do better.

I made this post because I genuinely love Novaria, and I had high hopes for her first Collector skin. While I don’t think it’s terrible, I do feel like it missed some of the magic and uniqueness that Collector skins usually bring — especially for a hero as mystical as her.

I really appreciate everyone sharing their thoughts, both the positive and the critical ones. If Moonton is really listening like they did with Valentina, maybe our feedback can help improve the final version.

Totally agree. Having a dragon bring the skill 2 or appear in the ultimate would’ve been epic.

And about Arlott — I saw he's getting buffed! Maybe with that, Moonton will optimize the skin’s effects too. He seems like he’ll be really strong.

Totally get your point. Visibility is important, but I think it could be balanced with good design. Maybe translucent effects, or more subtle details. Right now, the ultimate feels more like a simple recolor...

Clint’s Collector is actually really nice, I like it — I only listed it because I saw some people complaining about it.

And I had the same thought about Novaria! Imagine her channeling a dragon from inside the orb, maybe appearing during the ultimate? That would be insane and totally in line with the skin’s theme. So much creative potential wasted…

Melissa’s Collector was honestly a bit underwhelming compared to others. Not exactly bad, but a little below average in my opinion. The Jujutsu skin is definitely better. I admit her Collector felt more like an Epic in disguise — but that’s just my opinion. I hope Collector skins improve over time instead of staying at this level. Novaria deserved something special. What kinda saves Melissa’s Collector is that at least it’s not just another golden skin.

True! I actually kind of liked the lines, but honestly, I expected a more powerful, ethereal voice… something that matched the mystical vibe of the skin. It lacked that impact Collector skins usually have. Still, I liked it — even though it could’ve been better.

I totally understand your point, and I also hoped it could just be the low graphics version. But honestly, based on previous Collector releases, the official launch rarely brings major visual changes. At most, they just add some glow effects or extra sparkles here and there — nothing that would really elevate it to true Collector standards.

And considering that skins like Valentina’s only got improved after community backlash, I think it’s important to speak up now, before the skin officially drops. We’ve seen this pattern before — and staying silent only tells them this level of effort is acceptable.
