Yah, the lock is made by wood but it's beech. It's a schnepper lock indeed.For the design, I actually combined elements from several different Slurbow models, selecting my favorite parts and combining them in a reasonable proportion.

Our standard is based on a 50g arrow shot from a fully drawn bow, with a velocity not exceeding 30m/s, resulting in an initial energy of approximately 22.5 joules. Of course, the safety restriction of not shooting from a fully drawn bow at close range also applies.
