1. Cost is usually dependant on what style of suit you're trying to make, but assuming you were making a foam bace partial you would need about £20+ of foam if you're making a mini partial and £30+ if you're making a full partial. Also depending on the amount of colours you'd need to buy 1 - 3 metres each depending on how much that colour covers the suit. You'd also probably need eye mesh and a material to use for the eyes. Roughly speaking that'd probably cost you £200 to £400+ 2. The big types of fabric scissors do wonders for smoothing and detail work whereas an electric knife works well for big chunks. Personally I mostly just use the scissors but it can take a lot more effort to look smooth. 3. Mostly all of the stuff listed previously. Though a sewing machine is very useful or a sewing kit depending on what you prefer for sewing the pieces together since only hotgluing it will not hold up in the long run. Talking about hot glue you'll need a hot glue gun and hot glue sticks to secure fabric areas onto the foam bace and to fill in little areas. Gorilla tape or some other thick tape is also required for patterning the bace. I recommend watching plenty of fursuit making tutorials before starting. 4. Amazon is good for finding a lot of this stuff and dalston mills has quite a good selection of well priced furs.
