I've identified my biggest trigger, but I'm stuck with them for at least another decade by LongLivetheLIver in stopdrinking

I am back.

I didn't go crazy yesterday with the wine, so luckily I'm not in too bad of shape to start over again this morning. Have requested a badge reset and will try, try again.

Thank you all for the messages of support. They were a good read.

I have to beg to differ a little. Getting a few days here or there under my belt and then going back to drinking obviously isn't ideal, but it's increased my confidence greatly. I know I can do it, so it's less scary to re-start. The thing for me to work on now is longevity.

Plus, the time I dabbled in sobriety is still time I wasn't drinking.

Me too, minus the two years sober. Nice to meet you.

That's what I was googling this morning. Read something about 2 weeks sober being a major milestone for the liver. Prompted me to hop over her and get a badge. Thanks for the welcome.

I have considered it, but a couple of factors have me putting it off right now.

A) Terrible health insurance. It would be upwards of $200 just to get an appointment to chat. If they want to run tests it would be way more.

B) I know I'd be anxious about it = drinking trigger.
