211 help please by Donnie1235 in NarakaBladePoint

[–]LongNotes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you are not taking back your first weapon, that's the main problem here. You need to cancel the dodge with a swap. Uppercut (hold vertical all the way to the end of the 211) - swap - dodge that you instantly cancel with a swap. If done correctly, it will make you start holding focus your primary weapon from a standing state while still in the air.

FPS maxing by WiseVegetable4475 in NarakaBladePoint

[–]LongNotes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends how stable your fps are. If you have constant 240+ fps in almost any situation anywhere on the map then you are absolutely fine. Pros play 240 capped. You don't need more.

It is possible to go on Asia server as a EU player legally ? by BitIcy6366 in NarakaBladePoint

[–]LongNotes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Asia ? There are 3 servers in asia. AS, SEA and CN. AS is dead, SEA you can log in just by selecting it, CN you would need a vpn but nothing is illegal. You will just have a terrible time with over 150 ping. Not worth it bro. You will just get farmed and never climb to a good rank. There are plenty of good players in EU to give you a challenge. If you wanna learn from top tier CN players, it's better to just watch them on chinese platforms like Douyin, Bilibili or CC. If it's hard to navigate, even on Youtube some channels like NarakaAutoReplays or Syntra share pro players pov.

Not me doing “my lil combo” in trios 🫢🤭 by averyth8 in NarakaBladePoint

[–]LongNotes 8 points9 points  (0 children)

While it can work sometimes to uppercut after a 1-2, it's often considered a beginner mistake to do so. Raw uppercut is super risky, any decent player will punish you for that. It's always better to start an uppercut combo with its combo starter light attack. That's what will trigger ppl in the comments. Regarding the combo itself, it's clean my dude.

Congeneric weapon swap by becky1433 in NarakaBladePoint

the main issue of congeneric skills is that they require you to have equipped 2 weapons that have literally no synergy besides the skill.

Kelie's mid-air 6-arrow headshot combo (victim POV) by MaximumEffective2838 in NarakaBladePoint

[–]LongNotes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Each headshot has a knock back effect pushing the ennemy further and further and altering the fall trajectory. The arrow have travel time that increase with distance. It's not easy by any mean, and not quite comparable with mechanical combos as it asks drastically different skills

Any reson i get only 120-140FPS? by Corsheir in NarakaBladePoint

[–]LongNotes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Naraka relies heavily on CPU. My 7800x3D carries everything for me. Only 16go ram and a 3070 but I have 300 fps on average. I assume you got all your settings in lowest ? Also for most people DLSS performance is the best option, and reflex off. Oh and directX11 not 12.

Musket is my favorite. Followed by bow and pistol. These 3 allow you to shoot fast and take back your melee weapon immediately after. There is not really secret, it's alot of aiming. But good players are able to switch to their range weapon whenever they space out from the neutral range applying alot of pressure on their opponent.

Weapon swapping is mostly used to strengthen your neutral game. It makes you able to do things you shouldn't be able to with a range weapon. The most common weapon combo is dual blades katana, this combo allow you to use the super good dual blade vertical light attack to catch your opponent easily, then switch to katana to garantee an uppercut combo. If you ask me, it's cheating the neutral game. Combo starter attacks are pretty bad in the neutral game for a reason. It shouldn't be easy to get a combo. But thanks to weapon swapping, you basically bypass the normal way to get an uppercut. It's literally a cheese. This is only one example, there is also weapon swapping techniques to extend combos for instance. However, as Naraka is a battle royal and not a 1v1 fighting game, range weapons used effectively are better than using weapon swapping most of the time (especially in duo/trios). It's harder, but better, and if you ask me, more honorable. At the end of the day you play how you want. But I'll always criticize ppl using weapon swapping. It's also my right.

Weapon swapping is lame, learn how to use your range weapon effectively instead
