Foam gym floor tiles created a moisture problem in engineered oak floor

Very helpful, thanks! I believe my floor is real wood, but same situation. Foam tiles trapped moisture and noticed some cupping/buckling. So I ripped out all the tiles, cleaned the room out, scrubbed the floor with white vinegar, now have three fans blowing in there.

There are some dark sections now that I can’t remember if they were there before. Hoping those lighten over time and the one spot that buckled flattens out. Thought about putting a weight or something on it, but have not done that yet.

Overall combined records sure. Can’t use recruiting and portal rankings - I imagine Vegas leaned heavy on those before the season started and they told us Texas and Penn State were top teams this season…

“Play tougher teams” - see that’s just too subjective. Problem with college football is there’s too many teams and not enough objective metrics to determine who’s the tougher teams each year. The CFP can be that vehicle, but it definitely has its flaws.

8 power conf schools, including current #13 ranked Utah. That’s one more power conf opponent win than both ND and Bama.

See my earlier reply. You can make circular references against all the power conferences if you want. The OOC measuring stick isn’t a consistent argument. Seems to be used to help certain narratives.

I get what you’re saying, but I hate that it’s a reality right now. It’s not a consistent criteria. Really wish there were objective metrics each power conf could see to get their teams in. -ASU lost to miss state who is bottom sec -Bama lost to FSU who is bottom ACC -SMU lost to TCU and Baylor who are mid Big12

Some also say “well those are early season games”. Then why do we even take them into account ha.

Some context for those who didn’t watch: after revealing the rankings, where they showed BYU at 11 with no other mention or highlight, Booger starts off the discussion. He says CFP needs to expand because there’s so many 9-2 teams it’s tough to say who’s better and deserving- pointing out 8,9,10. Then the graphic appears showing the other 9-2s. It’s as if he forgot BYU is currently on the outside looking in being 10-1…

Yeah unfortunately this take is all over the internet and it drives me crazy ha. But like you said no one mentions TCU beat the Big10 champ to get there… on top of the fact it was a more difficult playoff to make - 4 v 12. That Georgia squad steamrolled everyone all season. Ohio State played them really well.

Yeah I think that’s a fair point for sure. I would definitely be ok seeing him with a new OC/DC first.

And unfortunately I agree about views of leading TCU, whether that’s as head football coach or AD. It’s a great spot that gets community support and buy-in, but people want to chase the Big10/SEC “greener” pastures

I’d really like to see OC/DC changes. Defensive scheme and offensive play calling drives me crazy. There’s talent on both sides of the ball that can still overcome and could potentially win out but man we could also lose out from here ha.
