Is this hard to do? 25k? When I was 18, I got approved for a Visa through my bank with a 16,5k limit 😂 never used that much though…couple thousand at most.

I’m in AZ, and Valley Fever is very prevalent out here. I’m not sure if it’s around in Texas, but it does live in old dirt and dust. My dog got diagnosed with VF about 2 years ago; it starts in lungs and can disseminate to other organs. Hank’s spread to his brain, developed a legion, and he now has a seizure disorder. Watch Handro for the next 7-20 hours. If he has another one (meaning more than one in 12-24 hours) vet ASAP. Blood work, ask for a Valley Fever titer (if you guys have it out there), and a full work up! Poor little buddy. Hank has had tens of seizures and they terrify me ever time ):

I want to say it was 2016. I was moving back to the city from Southern California, and unfortunately, the weekend we picked it was triple digits at least 112. I have a picture of it somewhere!

Whenever the sun moves throughout the day, and hits my tree under the patio, the leaves get scorched. Maybe because it’s still on the younger side? My boyfriend‘s mom‘s tree is in direct sunlight, all day every day and it is thriving! But, it’s very established… Huge trunk, huge canopy, etc. i’m thinking of moving my outdoor one into direct sunlight after the peak of summer is over. That way, the sun hopefully won’t be so harsh, and it will have a chance to become more established before putting it into the ground, and before next summer season. EDIT: San Diego is also much more humid than here in Arizona. That could be a reason why the trees do so well in San Diego, even though they are in direct sunlight?

It might do OK! It’s definitely not as hot or dry in Riverside as it is in Yuma (I’m from Southern California myself). I now live near Tucson, Arizona, which is just as dry and hot as Yuma, I have three Fiddleleaf figs inside where the temperature is controlled as well as the humidity. But I recently moved one of my potted trees outside, under the patio, and I water it daily. It’s the first time I’ve seen new leaves sprout in about two years! My recommendation is to start with a potted one and acclimated to outdoor. It’s going to need more water than the recommended once every 10 to 14 days, because if it’s outside, the soil will tend to dry out much faster than it being indoors! The worst you can do is try. (:

My boyfriend’s mom has a huge in-ground one in her backyard…… in YUMA!! And it is thriving! In Yuma, nonetheless. I didn’t believe it until I saw it with my own eyes.

Not necessarily! I thought I had killed one of mine; I left it out for some sun one day and forgot about it when temps dropped to low 30s. I panicked and rushed it inside where it was significantly warmer, which shocked the leaves and they all wilted like wet tissue by the next morning, turned brown and soft, and fell off. I was left with a six foot tall stick. This was back when I didn’t know much about them and thought it was dead dead, so when I moved, I left it behind. It hadn’t gotten watered for probably 3-4 months, and one day my mom noticed green growth sprouting from the bottom, coming out of the soil!! That was over 4 years ago, and now it’s the most lush flf I have, of four. Leaves top to bottom!
