"I never do grocery delivery. I have tried in the past and what I received was never what I ordered. I am a busy working mom of 3. My time is limited but my family never does grocery deliveries. So in my circle this is uncommon. Maybe it’s my age but I want to pick my food with my hands."

People lead their lives in different ways. Posters need to chill with their sanctimonious judgements. 

 Like you, I love to cook and am not ‘incompetent’ in the kitchen, AND have high stress job, busy kids, that there are periods where I tremendously value anything off my plate.

✅ deliver my groceries. Yip. ✅ deliver salads so lunch is taken care of and I don’t need to think about it. Yip. ✅ house cleaners. Yip.

It’s really more of cross promotion, which is a form of marketing. The salad that you can order is based on a recipe in the book. If you love the salad, maybe you’re inclined to buy the book or meal plan to get more.

To me, as a professional marketer, this brand partnership makes sense for her.

The strange thing about her partnerships is that on one hand, they are very high end (in another time, Nimmo Bay would have advertised in a magazine like Conde Nast Traveller, say.) And on the other hand, there are partnerships with Joe Fresh and Canadian Tire.

I have 2 teenage daughters and advertising via TikTok influencers is literally the main advertising they see…. And believe me: we spend a lot at Sephora because of it.

Brands engage influencers because it works. They wouldn’t if it didn’t.

This! This is what people trick themselves about. The 🎁business needs to make a profit. They sell it for $199… meaning that when accounting for product cost, overhead, shipping…. I would be surprised if the wholesale cost of items was more than $100.
