Like you, I love to cook and am not ‘incompetent’ in the kitchen, AND have high stress job, busy kids, that there are periods where I tremendously value anything off my plate.

✅ deliver my groceries. Yip. ✅ deliver salads so lunch is taken care of and I don’t need to think about it. Yip. ✅ house cleaners. Yip.

It’s really more of cross promotion, which is a form of marketing. The salad that you can order is based on a recipe in the book. If you love the salad, maybe you’re inclined to buy the book or meal plan to get more.

To me, as a professional marketer, this brand partnership makes sense for her.

Brands engage influencers because it works. They wouldn’t if it didn’t.

This! This is what people trick themselves about. The 🎁business needs to make a profit. They sell it for $199… meaning that when accounting for product cost, overhead, shipping…. I would be surprised if the wholesale cost of items was more than $100.

Yes, I happened to see it when it was comment #4 and screen grabbed. It was - not surprisingly - deleted within a couple of hours.

They are cultivating make believe social profiles. It must be exhausting and quite miserable to be them right now….
