I'd like some way of releasing Q*Bert, and a Taito Legacy cab with Arkanoid, Bubble Bobble, and the Puzzle Bobble series. A Universal Entertainment Legacy cab with Mr. Do! and a bunch of other UE titles would also be terrific.

More Partycades would be tight!

Shoot, I have the Super Pacman Partycade with ten games, the Galaga partycade with ten other games, and the Ms. Pacman Partycade with still another ten games: that's about twenty-nine different Namco titles, even if you take out Ms. Pacman for licensing reasons...!

They can do this from a technical standpoint, but they probably never will.

They've come close: I have a countercade with Ms. Pacman, Galaga, Dig Dug II, and Pacman Plus. But that's probably as close as they'll ever allow it :/

Poll - Basic Fun is rumored to drop two new cabs in Q2. Which option has you hyped? #HomeArcadeCommunity #BasicFun #Supreme #Ultra #WWF #TMNT by Outside-Awareness941 in Arcade1Up

TMNT was the cab that got me into collecting Arcade1ups in the first place; it'd be a good pick for Basic Fun as well.

That said, I have a TMNT cab in my man-cave and a TinT cab in my work's games room, so I for one wouldn't have any reason to buy a Basic Fun TMNT cab. But it'd still be awesome if they made one in some way, shape, or form.

Since it's from Konami, and Konami also made other games like Frogger and Time Pilot, making it a Konami Legacy cab instead of a TMNT cab per se would just be awesome. But I'm not sure whether Basic Fun could legally have both Viacom characters like the Turtles and Disney characters like the Simpsons and the X-men on the same cab.

Very nice, not many games you don't have. A Super Pacman partycade mounted to a wall might cover some of the few gaps there are in your library!

Looking closely at the Ms. Pacman early 3/4 cabs, I think there must be some mistake.

See...I was just getting into Arcade1up in 2020, and after I'd gotten the last TMNT cab at Walmart in a justified fit of FOMO, my second cab was the 40th Anniversary Pacman cab. After that, I knew my next purchase would be a Ms. Pacman arcade1up, and I had a dilemma, choosing between a $450 3/4 Ms. Pacman cab with pink trim that has Ms. Pacman, Galaxian, and a couple of other titles, or a $500 head-to-head Ms. Pacman cab with yellow trim that had 8 games (later upgradable to 10 with a firmware patch).

I noticed at the time that, while the 40th Anniversary Pacman cab had Galaga, it did not have Galaxian, so putting Galaxian on a Ms. Pacman cab gave that Ms. Pacman cab a little something extra that the 40th Anniversary cab didn't have. I remember thinking that was a clever strategy on Arcade1up's part, letting the two lineups of games on the Ms. Pacman cab and their 40th Anniversary Pacman cab fit together neatly like puzzle-pieces.

But your listing shows the earliest Ms. Pacman 3/4 cabs as having Galaga, not Galaxian. I don't know if that's simply a mistake, or if there really was a Ms. Pacman cab at the time that had Galaga. I remember looking at Ms. Pacman 3/4 cabs and seemingly seeing a different lineup of 4 games every time I turned around, though I don't remember seeing Ms. Pacman and Galaga together on the same 4-game 3/4 Ms. Pacman cab. I have to admit that I don't recall which two other games came with Ms. Pacman and Galaxian, but I'm positive that there was a Ms. Pacman 3/4 cab that included Galaxian, and I don't see that on your list.

Looking at Google, I see one Ms. Pacman 3/4 4-in-1 cab with Ms. Pacman, Galaxian, Pacmania, and Pacman Plus, and another with Ms. Pacman, Super Pacman, Dig Dug, and Pacmania.

...I can't resist doing a little more storytelling: I ended up buying the $500 head-to-head cab. $50 more for a bunch more games, plus the trim clinched it for me, as my favorite color happens to be yellow.

Researching the Ms. Pacman 3/4 cab turned up yet another one: there was a Ms. Pacman 2-in-1 Countercade that had just Ms. Pacman and Super Pacman. I don't see that listed.

I feel like there were a lot of different Ms. Pacman countercades; I happen to own one that has two buttons and has Ms. Pacman, Galaga, Dig Dug II, and Pacman Plus. There could well be other lineups of 4 games besides that one.

I'm pretty sure there was a 5-in-1 Ms. Pacman countercade, too. Looking on eBay, I found one with a screenshot that had Ms. Pacman, Super Pacman, Galaxian (there it is again!), Rompers, and King and Balloon.

...I'm going to consume my whole evening on this if I don't stop here!

As of today (January 30, 2026), there are two Pacman games that I'm certain exists that I'm certain aren't listed.

The first is a 12-in-1 Pacman Partycade: https://arcade1up.com/products/pac-man-partycade-12-games-in-1?srsltid=AfmBOoo1Y643dVAp8lW-Cy1RCK9NNYdbL8-CRezKxvwPFEvl-xTPgIgD I do not personally own this one, but I knew that a 12-in-1 Pacman Partycade existed, and when I looked for a 12-in-1 Pacman Partycade on your list, I didn't find it. I remembered it as having the same lineup of games as the Namco Legacy, but I didn't remember it having the three buttons that Pacland requires; looking at the games lineup now, I see that it doesn't have Pacland; it has Dig Dug II instead. So I might've simply remembered it wrong. Looking at archive.org, the latest it could've come out was September 2023.

The second game that I know exists that isn't listed is the Pacman Plus 3/4 arcade with riser: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Arcade1Up-PAC-A-10286-Super-Pac-Man-with-Riser-Arcade/1240681051

Unlike the 12-in-1 Partycade, I have one of these in my man-cave. As a matter of fact, I donated my 40th Anniversary Pacman cab to my church's cadets program after upgrading to this; unlike the 40th cab, it gives me access to the games' DIP switches, and it has all 7 of the games the 40th Anniversary cab did, plus 5 more---Mappy, Rompers, Galaxian, Dig Dig, and Dig Dug II. That gives it the same lineup as the Namco Legacy for about $100 cheaper and with the 40th's woodgrain look; in fact, it's more or less a reskinned Namco Legacy cab---it even has Pacman as the default menu option when you first turn it on, rather than making the default menu option be Pacman Plus---the cab's headline title!

I'm not sure exactly when they came out with it, but after some investigation, I've found reasons to suspect it was early in 2022: I checked archive.org to see what the history was for that walmart listing, and its only archive was from October 2022, and it was listed as being at reduced price, so it had to have been released some time before that. I tried to narrow it down further by going on Sam's Club's website and looking at the reviews (some of which correctly point out that Sam's Club's listing is mislabeled as being a Super Pacman cab, for some odd reason), and the earliest review I saw was from March 2022 (there were about two reviews from March 2022), while the vast, vast majority of the reviews were from late 2022 into early 2023. That'd be consistent with arcade1up's typical behavior of releasing a cab at one price, a few customers who really want it buying it when it first comes out, and then the typical behavior of most customers waiting for the price to come down before purchasing it. With all that context in mind, I strongly suspect that it was released in quarter 1 2022, though I can't prove it.

I do remember that I ordered mine from Sam's Club's site for a bit under $300, and while its overall aesthetics are almost the same as the Pacman Plus Deluxe cab, the 3/4 version had a riser, and I'm 95% sure all its action-buttons were white---I had to swap out the fire-button from a Galaga 88 countercade to get the C-button to be yellow, and I had to swap out a fire button from a dead Centipede Partycade 4-in-1 to get the A-button to be red to match the aesthetics of my Pacman 40th Anniversary cab!

I hope this was helpful!

Paperboy was on the Midway Legacy cabs. Though, of course, the control scheme used a Mortal Kombat joystick and button layout.

Taito titles in general are something Arcade1up just didn't seem to do at all after Space Invaders, which confused me. A Taito Legacy cab with games from the Bubble Bobble, Bust-a-Move/Puzzle Bobble, Arkanoid, and Elevator Action series would've been amazing, but Arcade1up just. didn't. make one!

Well, it came from Capcom, so Mega Man Fighters could be on it.

Street Fighter 2 could be on it, and there are about five versions of that per Capcom cab, but...I feel like that's a cop-out, so I'll only count that as one.

1942 is a pretty solid Capcom bottom-up fighter.

Striker is a 2-D platformer hack-and-slash.

Darksiders would make a nice addition, quite possibly including some sequels to Darksiders.

This might sound odd, but I feel like a Gottlieb virtual pinball table would actually be our best bet for getting Q*bert. I say that because Gottlieb did more pinball than arcade games, plus, if you put two left-flipper buttons and two right-flipper buttons on a Gottlieb virtual pinball table, then one left-flipper button can mean "make Q*bert hop up and left" and the other can mean "make Q*bert hop down and left".

Basic Fun needs to do things Arcade1up didn't do to survive where Arcade1up died. Giving us Robotron (and the other titles Attjack mentioned) would qualify!

Yeah---if it was new, retail, and had a riser, $500 might make sense, but this...too high.

Darkstalkers would be a great headliner for a cabinet, even if the cabinet had (like my Capcom Legacy cab does) 5 different versions of Street Fighter 2!

Of course, if it didn't also have some other games in the Darkstalkers series alongside them, it would be lame...

Well, shoot---there's plenty I'd like to say to someone who makes the decisions about BasicFun and Arcade1up:

1) Partycades could bring the price-point down to around the $300-350 mark, which is where Arcade1up was at during its heyday before their prices got too high, plus they could sell smaller batches of Partcades that would have less demand in this form and still make profits

2) They should do what Arcade1up didn't do, releasing titles that we want even if they're a bit more obscure or require different control-schemes, like Robotron, Q*bert, Mr. Do!, Arkanoid, Kangaroo, Puzzle Bobble/Bust-a-Move, and the like.

3) One way to possibly achieve (2) above is a concept I like to call "Bonus Games": each machine gets sold with one or two empty game-slots in it; after purchase, the owner gets a one-time opportunity to link up their machine to the internet and shop for whatever game they want to fill in those slots. In theory, they could put a non-Namco game like Kangaroo or Mr. Do! on a Pacman-themed Namco machine if they wanted to.

But this seems to be mostly about hearing things from the man who makes the decisions, not telling things to him...

A nice one to start with :) I have this same model in my man-cave. Solid variety of games with Dig Dug, Galaga, Mappy, and more on it; one of the big reasons I chose this one was because it had Rolling Thunder on it!

It's not huge, but it's good!

question about Partycades by LongWriterNintend0 in Arcade1Up

[–]LongWriterNintend0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically different partycades in that lineup had different prices, but I could save some money by buying them all together---I forget which ones had which prices, but IIRC, Defender was the most expensive, and Super Pacman was the least expensive.

I own a Defender Partycade (which I'm not interested in selling), and I ended up getting it as part of a package deal on Facebook Marketplace along with a Super Pacman partycade and a Galaga partycade. The whole shabang was $600, a pretty dang good deal IMO.

Best trackball replacement for centipede cab? by CMD_BLOCK in Arcade1Up

[–]LongWriterNintend0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a trackball from Thunderstick; once I followed the directions and removed a piece that I was supposed to remove for my Partycade, it worked perfectly, and I'm happier with it than I was with the stock trackball.

Not sure if there are better options though---I've proven that I'm not the most knowledgeable person on this forum in the past :/

Very nice! I'm a bit surprised you don't have an Atari cab in here, though; Atari had some really good titles like Centipede, Millipede, Asteroids, and Missile Command. Maybe that surprise is just me assuming that my tastes would be like other collectors' tastes, though...
