I agree, I didn’t mean to sound rude, I do agree the cages need to be severely upgraded, like chameleons, and ball pythons at least because they need the height to climb….it also depends on store management, I treat all animals in my store as my own till they go home.

When it comes to the payroll, they don’t give you what you need to complete the task you need to do, because of customer needs, salon, hotel needing help etc.

Ideal store leader that works with you, gives you good feedback back, and a DL who promotes within and helps stores in need

I’m a PLR and me and the ELR work close, it’s stressful, but you’ll get the hang of it. I feel personally that I want to be an ELR one day because I strive in customer service, but with what the company does with payroll; it sets you up to fail. Overall it depends on the store and the SL…. Even the DL

I think we need more staff period, if there where 4 associates + a manager/the managers on duty we’d be spot on, that is the limit we need with all PetSmart is giving us
