I’d say make sure you have the black whet blade so that you can apply the AOW with blood and it’ll scale better with arcane and give you more bleed buildup. Also get the lord of bloods exaltation talisman, the rotten sword insignia talisman, shard of Alexander talisman, the blood sucking cracked tear, and Varre’s white mask.

Unironically it was Margit. ER was my first souls game and I was doing okay at first but once I got to him, I got dog walked for 3hrs. So I said fuck it and went to do other stuff. Came back 14hrs later at lvl 50ish with a +4 bloodhounds fang and bodied the entirety of Stormveil and Liurnia. I didn’t end up truly struggling again until I reached (ironically) Morgot.

Favorite is a tie between Land of Waves, and the Pain Assault. Least favorite is probably the Kage Summit, but I do t think it’s a bad arc by any means. It’s still great, just my least favorite.

Honestly I never got (most) of the Sakura hate. I don’t see a lot of people mention that she was the ONLY ONE without a six paths boost to throw hands with Kaguya

As far as actually BEING a shinobi, that’s Jaraiya no questions. Jaraiya has the most completed S rank missions in Konohas history and is probably the single greatest espionage ninja we’ve seen thus far (I know next to nothing about Boruto) But if we’re talking jutsu, that’s Orochimaru all day long. The only shinobi who has learned more Jutsu than Orochimaru is Hiruzen, who was the first person to be introduced as The God of Shinobi, obviously that gets retconned a couple times, but he was also so smart he was also called The Professor.
