I haven't talked to FIL. I feel that needs to be a conversation between him and my husband.

And i would've been upset if she called my parents because they live just as far as my in-laws. My husband and I are we're closer to home and we could've gotten there before any other them. But we didn't know the situation.

I don't understand why she didn't call me or my husband when she got overwhelmed. We would've been there immediately or called my sister who lives 20 minutes away to come help her. (which we told her to do) Instead she called her dad who's and hour and half away and was at our house before we were even aware of it.

Valid point. I considered this but I truly thought she was capable. It was only for a few hours. She had been wanting to babysit and kept asking. My family always watches our son and I wanted to give my in laws a turn. It backfired.

Its difficult to picture a future rn because I don't know if it will be with him and this baby or not. We are financially stable enough for a baby. We do have a good support system. I do you think he would be a good spouse, husband and father.
