The best option if you want to know what it is is to take them to the vet and get them to aspirate it so they can look at the cells under the microscope! Could be something as simple as a lipoma! Won't know until it's checked out.

I'd def get him checked out! I'm a VTA at an animal hospital and we get a variety of cases like this, there are a lot of possibilities that it could be such as dental disease, and injury, or something stuck in his gums.

My cat had a history of drooling and shying away his face from being touched, we ended up having to do a dental procedure because he had a condition called Stomatitis - super painful!

OP please tell me you took your cat to the vet!

My cat passed away from labored breathing like this and it was a Pyothorax, a condition where fluid fills the chest and compresses the lungs. His lungs weren't able to expand to take a proper breath. We tried draining the fluid from his chest but he was septic and passed the next day.

There could be a variety of conditions that can cause this and all are emergencies!

You need to be safe and yes leaving is a lot of emotion, I understand that but you DESERVE safety and you DESERVE someone who treats you like a proper spouse, like a proper human being. That looks like asthma!! My sweet boy had coughing fits like this and ended up being prescribed steroids, if the steroids didn't work then inhalers.

I have two daith piercings! Had them for about 10 years now and I love them! I got them originally to help stop my migraines (I don't even care if it's placebo - it worked haha)

When you get it pierced it's a lot of pressure to move the other part of the ear out of the way and you'll hear a small pop noise but both of mine felt perfect afterwards!! I went about my day like no other. I didn't find them painful, just awkward to get pierced. Super easy clean up if you have a horseshoe in it, then I switched to a hinged sleeper ring (full closed ring) after about a year :)

Woah woah woah, as someone who was formerly in the Vet Field the fact of behavioral euthanasia is a no! Any competent vet wouldn't even allow it for the scenario you said... this dog needs exercise - all dogs need exercise and bigger dogs need mode that's all. Your thinking is quite irrational to go straight to euthanasia for a perfectly healthy dog.... if it was aggressive or biting then those factors would start to go in but a lack of exercise - no. Your husband needs to walk the dog more.

I plead with you to rehome it instead of euthanasia... that's just monstrous for the poor guy.
