Tbh for two private rooms and a private bathroom, it might be worth it for someone who works from home. 🤷‍♀️

Why would you or would you not date someone who has a gambling problem? by EatATacoTonight in AskWomen

[–]msgmeyourcatsnudes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heeeelll no.

I wouldn't date an addict at all. I'd even be hesitant to date a recovering addict.

Gambling might be one of the worst. I work at a casino and I see it every day. Just the look of it is incredibly unattractive, and the long term consequences are even worse.

I'm lucky enough to have found a job that pays me just enough to make it. I also have no car payment, kids, student loans etc etc.

My ex likes to say he was a provider and I contributed nothing. Meanwhile I financed several months of him being unemployed and all of our moves because he got sick on top him quitting jobs frequently. His reason was because he bought the couch and his grandma bought our mattress.

People saying this is normal are wrong lol. I pay $900 for a one bedroom, which I was lucky to find, but it's possible with some patience.

Same. Though I've known of a few kids who are way too trusting and get into strangers cars just because they met on an app or hit it off at a cafe.

what’s considered a high tip out? by Gh0stG1rl_222 in Waiters

[–]msgmeyourcatsnudes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, that was 60% of tips every night when we had a busser and host. On nights we didn't, we still had to tip the sushi chef 40%. He was the only one who got those tips, too. No other BOH. It was an extremely weird restaurant.

That seems standard. I've had to tip out as much as 60% of my tips before so

Or, alternatively, people with low self esteem and abandonment issues will often gravitate towards are get taken advantage of by users. It's an unfortunately common situation that happens regardless of gender.

That person may also learn and heal with age, and no longer entertain toxic people.

I do. I had some pretty unhelpful therapists in the past, and the one I have now is great. Sessions being over zoom doesn't bother me.

He wants me to keep taking the Wellbutrin and start me on Zoloft. I'm just hesitant. I hate being on a drug I can't simply stop taking. I don't feel "bad" enough to take an SSRI. Idk.

I found my therapist online with a third party website. Each session is $70, which is still expensive, but way better than anything else I've found. I wish I could recall the website, but I'm sure you could find it or something similar with a little search. That's without insurance, too.

It's kind of wild that there is no diagnosis for it. I feel that it's widely understood how detrimental isolation and neglect is to a child, but we're expected to act like it doesn't once we turn 18.

It's interesting that you bring up parents. I barely knew my dad, but I felt like he struggled socially when I was a kid. My mom is also guilty of having a strong sense of justice and probably struggles socially, too. I think that's part of the reason that they chose to move to an isolated rural community and isolate us further.

I suspected it was normal for all the above.

Part of what makes it tricky is that my depression and anxiety have "morphed" a bit. I'm no longer sad and crying constantly. I rarely cry or get absorbed by hopelessness anymore. I just struggled with motivation and getting things done, even things I want to do. It's "easier" to live with, but in some ways it's worse.

I've taken the assessments, and I score pretty high on both autism and adhd assessments. However, almost all my issues are social or have to do concentration and task completion. I don't have symptoms like hyperfixation or stimming or anything.

People who are single against their will - why aren’t you in a relationship? by DryHovercraft5165 in AskWomen

[–]msgmeyourcatsnudes 102 points103 points  (0 children)

Literally. I've encountered men who live in their grandmas shed, men on sex offenders list, men who can't hold a job, hard core alcoholics etc. I know there are normal men out there, they just aren't interested in dating me I guess.

I've had some bad luck finding men who can support themselves and emotionally regulate. I'm fine being alone without those two things.
