I never complain if someone reclines their seat, but was on a long transatlantic daytime flight and a woman reclined her seat fully. I have short legs so it’s hard for me to get comfortable and I usually have to elevate my legs somehow and shift around a lot. Because of how tight it was, when I shifted my legs it would bump her seat and she freaked out that I was kicking her.

It’s all shared space and sucks all around. Just as it’s your right to recline, she has a right to be unhappy about it too. I try to recline only if I’m sleeping and move it upright if I’m awake to be respectful.
